Ahh yes the Extra 300. I call that one Zippy.
I’ve modernized my Mooney with dual G5s and the GTN 750, although I still have all steam gauge + GNS 530 as well for when I want to really go old school.
Disregard the Bonanza fuel selector lever on my left panel. I know it looks horribly out of place. But I need the fuel selector in the plane to actually work so I can do a proper graphic capture to build one for Air Manager. Anxiously waiting for it to be fixed so I can complete that…
well when the game doesn’t crash…
I’m a yuge tubeliner fan, i fly them almost exclusively. so FBW a320, Salty 747 and eventually the PMDG Boeing planes (probably the 777 and 737).
But all my friends that have this game prefer props so i’ll just fly a 172 in those cases
TBM-930 mugz mod
747-8 cargo flights Salty mod
C-208
Emb-110
The private livery is my favorite too! Top Rudder Solo is also super fun, and I haven’t spent much time in the TBM yet (I feel the glass cockpit looks out of place on a GA prop plane) but I feel like I should because it’s the closest thing we have yet to a Pilatus PC-12 which is my dream plane.
In order:
- Husky for idaho Backcountry fun.
- Neofly bush and small trip around Idaho: BN2 islander
- Neofly Short and small trip: C208 around the islands.
Wow!
I myself am strictly a steam gauge only man… he lied [I do have LNM networked to a laptop] Hahaha.
My own predilection’s aside, your pit is impressive!
Every success/enjoyment with all your future emulations.
Regards.
Out of 705+ hours I’ve flown in MSFS, I have over 670 hours flying the FBW A320N. I guess that’s my favorite aircraft.
FBW A320 for short to medium long hauls.MSFS 787 for Long hauls and High Performance H135 Heli for slow exploring visuals.Rarely touch anything else..
I keep thinking about this plane. So far I’ve only grabbed the Carenado 170 and the Asobo Husky so I’ve capped my spending to $15 per plane. Reallllly want the Piper but fear buyer’s remorse haha
I normally fly the DA-40, the King Air, the CRJ or the 747 depending on the kind of flight I’m performing.
I love the Husky. Been flying it around the Alps today and put her down in Geneva just a few minutes ago.
When I fly the TBM (with the G3000 and Mugz mods) it makes me feel like a millionaire
me too if a380x is released i will do a long haul flight from rpll-kjfk
A320 is so cool to fly
From what I’ve seen in regards to the A380X, it’s gonna be pretty good, and knowing it’s from FlyByWire, I know it’s going to be even better.
same boat have c170 and love but never bought the pipers because they don’t offer demos or refunds. So that keeps me off spending. 37$ is a lot for me.
And as favorite planes c152 is a winner both with and without jpLogistics updates (the flight model changed so many times in both default and jp logistics that I used to change between them untill I thought one that felt ok)
Icon a5, and carenado c170 probably : )
Also I really like that small french plane (at least I think it’s french as all warning in it are :D)
Flight Design CTLS
Right now, im only flying the FBW A32NX Experimental version and do flights from 1-4 hrs.
Before that, the CRJ700 was my main Airliner, quite a few hours in it,but not many Airlines fly it in EU, so i will deffo get the CRJ1000 AdDOn as soon as it omes out to fly the Lufthansa Cityline routes.
The C172 is my plane to go when it comes to GA.
At first I flew the old style C172 entirely but a few months ago I shifted over to the Pipistrel Virus and I feel like Im about to shift to something else.
I’ve flown a few of the included planes but none have ‘stuck’ yet. The Virus is really well done.
Depending on how you fly, the A32NX experimental build might work well for you. It has their new custom FPM, brought over from WT’s CRJ and this is already giving a better LNAV flying experience than the stock FPM (and thus the developer A32NX build). This has been my primary aircraft for a little while now, and I’m consistently doing long-ish flights with it without any major navigation issues - a miracle compared to the stock FPM!
One caveat - you can’t use the in-game ATC at the moment with this. The in-plane flight plan isn’t sync’ed back to Asobo’s engine, so the default ATC is therefore oblivious of your intentions. The team are working on this (as well as VNAV) so I suspect it will get sorted at some point in the future. The only way (and, in truth, the best way anyway) to get complete flight plans into the MCDU without typing them in manually is to use the simbrief integration, which I highly recommend anyway.
I’ve not used the development build for a little while now, but it should also work fine with WU6. In the past, issues relating to not following flight paths were related to controller deadzones - i.e. if you didn’t have enough deadzone configured, the tiny input from the controller could interfere with the autopilot and cause weird behaviour, like flying off course.
