I fly exclusively in VR. To me the small gap between my headset and my nose is a "feature and not something I want to cover up. I use this tiny gap to glance at a Streamdeck XL that has all the buttons I need or use frequently (I usually fly GA so there aren’t as many as on an airliner). Other than that I don’t feel anything is missing really. My mouse and keyboard are within reach. I built a shelf to store my HOTAS, and that and the yoke are mounted on boards to I can swap them out with just wing nuts. In the image I have a Pico 4, but that has since been upgraded to a Pimax Crystal. And never mind the cheap pedals, they were just being tested with F1 2022…

What’s the idea of the portrait screen?
Most of the apps I use for msfs have fixed window sizes. Leaving them on the screen will leave blank space regardless of the orientation of the monitor. And vertical takes up less space on my desk…

That is a lot of buttons for use with a headset. Do you use mixed reality to see them? Looking very dapper for a pilot there btw

Don’t use mixed reality for now. I can find those buttons, as you use it more, you’ll get the positions fairly fast.

ATC may tell your brother to call a phone number for possible pilot deviation but a sharp dresser like that can get away with nearly anything.

I use that gap at the bottom too for the odd key board shortcut I need comes in handy
