Ive been trying out PFPX
simbrief with airac from navigraph
Haven’t done it yet is FS2020, because the IFR features are so poor, so I’m only using it for VFR at the moment, but on xPlane I use the FlightAware App. I select real world scheduled flights and you can view the exact filed flight Plan, with all departure SIDS and waypoints and arrival STARS. I then manually punch them into the FMC. I use skyvector website to confirm the high altitude IFR routes, and Airnav to view my SID, STAR and approach plates. I then manually calculate fuel
Whatever you use, be sure to set your cruise wind to 225/3…
PFPX personally. But I haven’t been able to use it yet, since a major part of flight planning is weather and its impacts on aircraft performance. If the sim doesn’t remotely match the forecast, then it makes planning irrelevent.
Combination of simbrief and navigraph charts(app) is what i’ve been rolling with
SImbrief will down load into MSFS
Ive only had those winds when flying in the USA
I’ve read Europe is fine, but I’ve certainly seen it in USA, Australia and South East Asia. Don’t think it’s ever been anything else for me, pretty significant bug.
SimBrief + Navigraph + projectFLY + LiveATC =
What exactly is projectFLY. Thanks for the explanation.

skyvector, navigraph and simbrief
Simbrief, by a million miles the best (IMHO)
Just tried simbrief with flight
DRZA DCT IKTAR UA604 KAN UR778 KUA UV456 OXORU STAR DNAA
and nothing came back but error
RoutFinder and Skyvector worked
take those “dct” and “star” out of there
just put in IKTAR UA604 KAN UR778 KUA UV456 OXORU
Simbrief with full navdata
Filed Route is almost always empty for me, or incomplete. I can’t get all this information with FlightAware, any tips?
yeah still error
i think it only shows for USA domestic flights
