What is a 'Wishlist?'

  1. What a forum member would like to see implemented in the sim or the forum.
  2. What a forum member thinks others would like to see implemented in the sim or the forum.
  3. A topic intended to argue for or against.
  4. Something else.

Feel free to add your opinion.

My opinion is that a Wishlist item is something a single member thinks would be useful. If I agree, I vote, and sometimes add a comment that supports the idea. If I disagree, I close the thread and move on.

The Wishlist is a specific subcategory on the forums where users can request a feature that they would like added to the game by Microsoft/Asobo.

That’s what I thought.

In the sim’s Market Place, it’s a list of stuff I’m considering buying. Here though, my take on it is a bowl of no1, with a huge ladleful of no2 stirred in when no-one’s looking.

Just my observation, feel free to disagree; I’m not here to upset anyone.

So, exactly what OP said in their post.

In the old days, these were known as “Design Change Requests”. :man_white_haired:

With over 3,000 items currently in the Official Microsoft Flight Simulator > Wishlist category, there is no way MS/AS is going to implement them all. My understanding is that MS/AS considers the number of votes when deciding what new features to implement, so use your votes wisely!

For new forum members that might be reading this, please note that you may not be able to vote for a whiile, and will have a limited number of votes until you reach Trust Level 2. This post by @HamMan2118 explains all!:
