I’d like to fly a lighter than air aircraft. It should be mostly bug free but doesn’t need to be study level. If usability compares to, let’s say, the Carenado 182RG or Mooney M20 then I’m fine.
It doesn’t matter if it’s an MS aircraft or 3rd party. I’m still 95% on 2020 (2024 for float planes only), but if it must be 2024 then be it.
Thank you for giving some suggestions.
Do you mean, ‘Ultralight?’ The only ‘lighter-than-air’ aircraft in the sim are a hot-air balloon a blimp, and a dirigible. The Hindenburg by Red Wing Simulations looks quite detailed. I don’t own it.
I’m enjoying the FSReborn Sting S4 (2024-compatible.) It has a G3/GNS530 glass cockpit that’s compatible with the PMS50 GTN750 mod. It flys really well. Being an ultralight it can be a challenge in the wind. My landing skills are improving!
More akin to the C182 is the Bonanza G36 Improvement Project. It’s one of my favorite GA planes. It’s also an FS2020 model with only one livery. Flies very well in FS2024, but if liveries are your thing, it may not be for you.

Right, I mean hot air, Helium and Hydrogen.
I played around with the hot-air balloon. Didn’t like it.
The Hindenburg I mentioned above looks pretty good.

This may be of some use .https://youtube.com/watch?v=K25_0Ejn9ck&feature=shared. It’s for the default balloon in the sim.
I tried it early on in the sims life and ended up getting caught in a storm off the coast of South Wales (UK). It basically folded in on itself, defying the laws of physics and I landed in Bristol City centre. It gave me one heck of a laugh though, still recovering from the slipped disc to this day.

Thank you, I will look at it.
