We all wanted to be able to open doors and have planes parked with doors open and on alot of planes you didnt allow this. You created a magical 2 sec animation of door opening you vanishing in with door closing behind you. You never get to have parked plane with door open. Fix this so we can open door and leave open. Kingair planes, cessna titan and many others.
I don’t think they’ll move your topic, but if I were them, I might change your topic title to something that describes your issue.
This Wishlist topic is similar to what you’re talking about. Not so much the title, but in it, they describe keeping the doors open. Wishlist is the place for feature requests. You can vote for it at the top of the page, and that will let the developers know you’re interested in it:
And for me, more specifics rather than threads like, “why, Asobo, why?..”, “Read this Jörg…” or “Look over here…” would be appreciated.

Door opening is indeed inconsistant between aircraft. Opening the doors on some immediately spawns you into Cockpit view. Others, like the Heart Aerospace ES-30, leaves you outside:
When it comes to designing a flight simulator, there is a fundamental principle that Asobo still do not seem to understand, even though they keep saying that they care about hardcore simmers as well.
The principle is very simple: give us complete freedom and allow us to make all the decisions and choices ourselves while flying virtually. If we want to open any doors and leave them open while staying inside the cockpit or outside, please just let us do it. If we want to place our aircraft anywhere in the world in a cold-and-dark state, please allow us to do so. If we want to change any setting, let us do it (and make sure the sim remembers it). If we want to decide where to fly and how, and then change our aircraft and fly somewhere else, please let us do it without having to end the session and start a new one. Give us complete freedom and design a simulator that allows us to see the (realistic) consequences of our actions.
This freedom is what mesmerised me and got me instantly hooked when I first saw a flight simulator about four decades ago, and it is this freedom of choice that I seek and try to enjoy in MSFS.
Agreed they just dont get it or understand. Do they not see all these third party planes allowing all doors to function open leave open for boarding ect ect…
