Before release, many users raised the question about the transfer of premium (deluxe) content to 2024.
It was clarified that all users will get their 2020 content in 2024, regardless of the edition they buy.
I had prwmium deluxe in 2020 and now pre-ordered Standard Edition 2024 through MS Store.
In the game, I got the notification, that my 2020 content was transferred and will be available upon restarting the Sim.
Yet I do not have any premium deluxe Aircraft from 2020 in the sim and I can not find an option in “my library” to activate them either.
This is very upstting. I bought a product based on the official information. I am missing essential content and there is absolutely no information about this.
Customer support is non-existent.
After restarting the SIM about 30 minutes ago, my Premium Deluxe content from 2020 was added and is now available in 2024.
This has caused another issue though: As there is no way to deactivate any content at the moment, I have Dubai Airports sitting on top of each other. THe Premium Deluxe version and the superior 3rd party one.
So while I am happy to generally have my content, now I wait for MS to give us the option to deactvate content in My Library…
Yet the question remains: will these transferred a/c be upgraded to use the new MSFS2024 features? Or will they just appear in our library as they were before? Some devs (such as the WBSim guys) have asked this several times and never received a definitive answer.
Nice. This is interesting given the WBSim devs themselves only yesterday said they still don’t have a meaningful answer, and this is one of the main reasons they’ve dropped the C172 project which was a huge hit among 2020 GA simmers. Perhaps they missed this one.
It should have really be mentioned in the FAQ.
WIth all the discussions here over the last weeks, and all the live streams broadcasted, it is no big surprise that things get lost, forgotten or overseen.
I had several purchases from 2020 that have not showed up. One was a recent purchase of the LEARJET 35A (Flysimware). It is nowhere to be found. Had anyone seen a succesfull transfer of the LEARJET 35A?
