Where are the flight sim files and folders located?

i need to completely uninstall the Sim to get rid of some persistent bugs, but I cannot find them on my hard drivrpe.

I tried uninstalling…and went through the 91 Gb download and when I opened the game…the bugs were still there.

Any suggestions welcome.

Why does Microsoft hide this from players…?

Any suggestions where I can find appdata?

It’s a hidden folder. Press Win+R and type in appdata. It’ll take you to the folder.

I am a newbie.

Exactly where do I press Win+R?

Your keyboard should have a key near the alt key or ctrl key (mine’s on the left side) which has the windows logo (trapezoid or square divided into 4 parts). Press that and then quickly after press R and then release. A small popup menu should appear.

Found it.
Thanks

For anyone searching for the same question and ends up here: the Steam install location is not exactly the same as the location mentioned above. For Steam installs it is:

C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator
