I’ve seen peole post that they can’t find VIP missions in Career mode. I can’t even find the lower-level Charter-Private missions! Obviously, they’re somewhere. Have I just not unlocked a particular location on the map? If so, where shold I go? As always, any help is appreciated!

Yes, that is correct. There is no patch that needs to be downloaded/installed for today’s Career Mode update.

But what do the vip icons look like in freelancer mode like they said? They all say vip but there just charters that don’t let you use the vip compatible aircraft? In employee mode they seem to be the gold starred ones that show up randomly but nothing on freelancer mode.
I’ve had this issue for the past few weeks now. I’ve completed the gold mission in the Pacific yet no Charter Service - Private missions are appearing anywhere on my map, even post the server side update.
This is really starting to drive me mad. Bad enough withholding activities using a career mode but not implementing that properly so we can’t perform the activities we’re entitled to??

Yeah and they think whatever they did server side fixed it… when it’s very apparent that yes it did something but def did not fix it…the blog they posted today said that it should be good now… I don’t know if they know or not that it isn’t…and I dont know how to find out 
Done most certifications (except airliners), more than 2M credits and a rating of 80+ and I am still not seeing charter missions or able to open a charter company, getting a bit boring flying cargo in career mode.
Decided to go for medium cargo. Finally purchased a C208 but there are no medium cargo missions. Giving up on career mode.
Not sure why you don’t see medium cargo but I have them everywhere I go. I’m currently using the PC12 but they are there for the caravan and skycourier too.
Still having those problems. Started first a cargo company in Australia and it’s barely any missions even after opening up more areas. The ones that show up are pretty much the same ones every time and they don’t go in any new areas. Then I opened a private charter company and while I can see some in Europe there is absolutely none in the areas in Australia that I have.
Really sucks as I now have to either sit on my plane or transfer it to europe where then the missions usually end in some mountain airport that needs professional skills to land.
All missions should be available everywhere.
