Where are the Sim servers and Download servers

Just a question about servers, when downloading the Full Sim I let the game connect to the server as you do, the West Europe server in my case.
It was downloading at around 10-15 Mb/s which is slow. I then connected to the Internet through my VPN to a different Country ( not UK ) and the download speed reached 62 Mb/s very close to my maximum of 65Mb/s
I was wondering when playing the Sim normally, would it be prudent to use the VPN so the connection for Bing Data, Photogrammetry, Live World Traffic, Weather etc. could be maximised.

Questions,

Where are the servers based?

Are the download servers the same servers for everything else?

What is the normal amount of data transfer required for the Sim under normal use?

If you look at the .exe behaviour with performance monitor during gameplay it’s connecting to a lot of different servers some of which appear to be in the US even though I’m in Sweden.

Shouldn’t be a problem with a 73 Mbp/s connection, this is the average usage on the first flight over London in a Cessna 172, so no cache at all.

Chose the resource monitor option at the bottom and you can even see what you are connecting to and the traffic volume per connection.
