Which Aircraft are at the top of your wishlist for third-party devs to make?

I’m interested in some of the newer composite aircraft like the Evolution EVOT-850 or Epic E1000 but a Cirrus Vision SF50 or Honda Jet would be interesting to fly too.

For me, it would have to be a decent four engine prop liner … something like the DC6. Oh wait! one’s coming out on Friday

It’s quite remarkable considering that mankind has only flown powered airplanes for just over a century, just what a variety of designs and technologies there have been. And every single one has it’s fanatics!. There are already a few really interesting and unusual aircraft that have been really well done. I’m pretty excited about the future … if only I can afford it all!

The Vought F-8 Crusader is a pretty hot item.

Anything with a radial engine. Single, twin, triple, quad… I‘m a sucker for these beasts.

Only requirement: properly modelled / simulated.

Probably a 2015 PA-28-181 - because that’s what I’ll be doing all of my post-PPL training in. Would be nice to be able to do some sim work with it.

Generally stuff that was actively used in the late 60’s through early 90’s, before computer screens started taking up more cockpit real estate than traditional gauges:

Pressurized GA twins such as the Beech Duke, Turbo Commander 690, and Cessna 421.
Pressurized commuter airliners such as the Fairchild Metroliner, Saab 340, and Embraer EMB-120 Brasilia.
Historic jet airliners such as the DC-9, 727, 737-200, 747-100, 757, Convair 880 and 990, and Concorde.
Historic business jets such as the Learjet 25 and 35, Cessna Citation I-SP, and Dassault Falcon 50.
The BD-5J micro-jet.
And we already have some nice military jet trainers of that era, but the T-38 Talon would also be awesome.

There have been threads like this before, there will be threads like this again.

But that’s a good thing because perhaps it’s an indication that enough folks out there are interested in flight simulation.

For me, I would like to see a few small regional commuter airliners. Aerosoft have already started us off with their Crj 550/700, I would like to see an Atr 72 and perhaps a couple of other aircraft in this short haul class.

I would also like to see a widebody airbus and a good version of the 737

In my “just for fun” category it would be nice to have a Bf 109 E. Yes, I can fly these in IL-2 and a variant in DCS (and I do) but it’s always interesting to have the same aircraft in different sims to see what’s the same and what is not with flight models and the like.

More than all the above I really, really want the ability to pop coloured smoke, this would make the Pitts, the Goshawk and the Mb339 amongst others most excellent fun.
