There is currently a Canadair CL-215 on simmarket by Roland Laborie.

Looks like he has some really positively reviewed planes and the 215 isn’t one of them. Your avatar suggests you might have tried it. Your thoughts?

I don’t need perfection, but he does have priced it in the range of really quite excellent.

I wish the sim looked that good, however, that is a real photo of a CL-215 at Oshkosh haha. I didn’t hear glowing reviews of the product (as I don’t have it), however that’s not to say its an awful product by any means. This was the forum post about the Roland Laborie. Reviews seem meh, and for the price point, I think there are better aircraft. I would probably, agree that 27 euros is too high for this product. The sim market reviews are not great either (for what simmarket reviews are good for). However, if you are looking specifically for a CL-215, there aren’t too many other aircraft like it in the sim available as payware.

This guy (me) forgot one - Vulcan. What an amazing bird, and very much fun to fly on my old MS 2004 rig.

I’d actually like someone to release the Dash 8 for MSFS. I like the unique design, and unique flight characteristics, the power of it, and the noise is amazing.

Does anyone know if the Synaptic A220 project is still going ahead?

I’m waiting for Piper tomahawk now

  1. American Champion Citabria or Decathlon.
  2. A WW2 warbird with option for modernized avionics.
  3. SF.260 or similar (a prop/turboprop trainer with civilian compatible avionics, at least an option to go without glass cockpit and more performance than typical GA)
  4. Properly done Cub without class cockpit.
  5. Mod to fix the CAP-10.

All should fly by the book and have otherwise realistic flight dynamics, though I won’t cry if they don’t model the fuseboard accurately.

Oh yes please!
That would be so cool!

I’d actually like to see the DC-10. It was by all accounts quite a fun aircraft to fly (very heavy though, apparently) and design flaws aside (cargo doors having a rather fatal tendency to open mid-flight) I have a soft spot for the tri-jets, this one in particular. Not sure why, I think because it was very flawed.
