The rocky areas are fantastic in 2020, amazing find!
I will add that the American southwest is full of amazing places, I was lucky enough to drive through a lot of it a few times.
Chaco canyon still has horrible tiling, would you check it out in 2024 please

Edit. Tiling issues have been fixed in MSFS2024 for Chaco Canyon. Looks nice now. The only issue I have is the Bing map data has low resolution. So once you get a bit of altitude it looks much nicer. Low down it looks like Africa’s Bing maps quality. But overall a 100% improvement on MS2020

I’m going to fire up the Sim and I’ll upload some screen shots of what I’m seeing in MSFS2020 first then MSFS2024 as it does look slightly better. I did Manual Cache it on MSFS2020 earlier and it only took 8GB. It might not score a 15/15 but it certainly scores very close.

Something weird is going on here for sure. I only flew there in MSFS2024 last night, thought right I’ll Manual Cache it in MSFS2020 next morning. When it only took 8GB of space I thought, must be the new better “compressed” scenery from Micro/Asobo and thought nothing of it. Didn’t think to try it in MSFS2020, if I had I’d have checked it again in MSFS2024 to be sure and seen it wasn’t as good as it was last night lol
Still doesn’t explain why it looked so good last night. This will be one to keep checking. Like Phoenix Az. That disappeared and one day knowing Micro/Asobo it’s will just reappear 
And I can confirm last night, the clarity of the roofs of the houses was as good as Las Vegas. You could see tiles, solar panels etc it was sharp as a pin and I use a Quest 2 haha and yet tonight its utter rubbish!
Okay when did Winnipeg, Canada get PG? I’m pretty sure it didn’t before as it’s a place I always wanted to see PG. It’s not listed in the Canada World Update.
From the brief flight I did, downtown area looks nice. There’s a lot of PG trees though. Not sure what it will be rated as until I fly there a bit more.
Going to Manual Cache it now in MSFS2020 and see what she looks like and will report back later 
I think it must have been mentioned somewhere, as it was on my master-mega-list already. I rated it a 3 (out of 6) fairly recently (for myself lol). In 2020 though:

It was a about a 40gb download and in MSFS2020 the PG quality is okay, not the best, but better the higher up you are. Nice area though so it’ll get added to the List probably an 8/15 for FS20 and a 9/15 for FS24.
Was nice seeing a train coming through Industrial areas though. Hopefully it won’t be long before FS Trains is working in FS24

Small and PG is not as nice as the newer upgraded places, but a pretty amazing walled city.
I would put this in as another 15/15 in FS2024 (Monaco).
To be fair the clarity COULD be better but it is such a fascinating place to check out and I keep finding new stuff even quite far inland (over the first ridges there)!
Flying on SU1 Beta 1.3.22.0 and noticed changes/improvements in London UK with many handcrafted assets being replaced with good quality PG.
London had issues with late pop-in of handcrafted assets and their textures on various significant landmarks and buildings. For example the London Eye, Buckingham Palace, some builidings within the actual City of London (including the Gerkin), and 1 Canary Wharf (The one with the pointed roof). These have all been replaced with good quality PG visible from a distance.
London is greatly improved now, thanks to these changes.

Nice find! It might not be the best PG but it is a nice little interesting area. Non PG blends well in FS24. Can’t test in FS20 as I had to re-install my FS24 earlier due to latest Nvidia Drivers causing crashes but that’s all fixed now, running latest driver with latest DLSS in preset K, which would never work before but when I went to run my FS20 it lost it’s installation! so it’s a 165GB download that will have to be done overnight grrrr. (FS24 takes 15mins to re install 
)
Will do mate. Agree with your rating there. As you say PG could be better but it’s the surrounding scenery that gives it a 15/15! Stunning now. Am I right in thinking the PG has been extended further inland? I don’t remember it being PG that far in lol.
I’m on the same SU1 Beta and I’m going to check out London again. It looked amazing a while back.
I have noticed the same thing in other parts of the world too. I was also flying in Las Vegas earlier and noticed an area had been updated. The previous time i flew there they were just bulldozing the hillside. Now there are a few houses built but there seems to be the foundations all ready for many more.

I will get the update of the List done by tomorrow night. I’ve made a few small changes, improvements and what not. I however won’t be adding any History to the PG places on the list. This will take too much time and it’s easy enough to google stuff. My time would be better spent focusing on this PG list and keeping it updated and it’s ratings accurate. I will still be implementing a printable version of the list soon as this is something I no doubt will use all the time 
Back to flying now, and I’ve got to promise myself that I won’t be tinkering with any settings anytime soon!
I think you might be right. It’s PG all the way to Nice and quite a bit east from Monte Carlo too. So many interesting buildings / villas / coves / mountain roads. That area is dripping with money lol.

Haha yeah, good luck with that! I keep saying that but always keep tinkering. The latest SU1 patch in Beta has let me push a few things up again. Looking promising!
Yeah I flew Monaco the other day and I swear the area was much bigger than it used to be, it’s a great area to fly
That quarry is no doubt in my mind new. I have a thing about quarries! Think it comes from my younger days Gold Mining in Zimbabwe.
I really wish Micro/Asobo would tell us about these Updates!

This morning I have been flying around Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S.A and I’m fairly certain the PG has been updated south of Henderson Executive Airport. There are loads of new housing estates and new ones dotted all over. You can see the construction very clearly and there are a lot more mounds of rubble etc that were not there before.
The whole area is really looking amazing and is fast becoming my number 1 place to fly. The PG is just so so crisp! Need to explore the entire area and see what else has changed.
If anyone else who knows the Las Vegas area well can confirm the Henderson area update, that would be great. It’ll stop me thinking I’m loosing my marbles 
Edit. Going to fire up MSFS2020 and load up my Manual Cached Las Vegas from months ago and turn off my internet just in case it decides to load up the latest data, that way I should know for sure.
Well that was interesting. Loaded flight without internet. PG loaded fine. Took off from Henderson Executive Airport and noticed immediately that there was no PG south of Airport. Everywhere else was fine. So turned on my internet and waited for it to load and it would seem that the new data is being streamed.
More testing is needed to confirm this

Sim bandwidth has been messed up this week for me but Rome was perfect today with no melting buildings
Flown this in FS2024 last night and noticed that there is a new POI there and it’s very close to Perugia, so what I will do is include Assisi and it’s POI to the Perugia entry. Nice find though thanks. Perugia, Italy is currently rated at 12/15 in FS20 & FS24 which I think is appropriate.
I’m starting to only use FS24 now and it’s rolling cache seems to be working very well. I’m finding that with my slow 50mb internet if I keep flying around the same areas i.e Las Vegas, Grand canyon it’s having no problems at all.
