Which do you think is the best default/first-party jet airliner in the game?

I recently got into the ATRs, and I’ve flown the cessna citations. Other than that, I haven’t really touched any of the airliners. I see a bunch of Airbuses, some Boeings, a 707… Which do you think is the most fun to fly/highest quality sim?

Thanks for your input!

I would say that the A330 is probably the best default jet airliner in the sim. Loads of accurate functionality and feels pretty good to fly

For me-also the ini-made A330 is pretty rewarding to fly with all the accurate functionality, sure it might not have a ini A340-esque EFB or all the premium bells and whistles of a ini payware craft but have done heaps of flights in it.

Thanks, I’ll start with the A330 then!

I’ve heard bad stuff about the famous flier Boeing 707 - does anyone know if there have been improvements? I like the retro look to it but since I’m new to airliners, I don’t want to learn bad habits with an awful flight model

I used to fly that 707 a bunch, and in my opinion, the flight model is decent, but the avionics and systems aren’t very realistic and the 3D model and textures aren’t very good. Also, it had several fundamental issues on release that Aeroplane Heaven took about a year to fix, such as the leading-edge flaps not extending, and in the cargo variant, the nose wheel turning perpendicular to the plane’s direction of travel upon liftoff. What amazes me, though, is that its release was initially delayed due to it “not being up to the MSFS team’s standards”… it wasn’t very good when it finally did release, so I can’t even imagine how much worse it must have been before that delay.

In short, that 707 isn’t very good at all in many respects, and I slightly regret spending money on it now. Same goes for most of Aeroplane Heaven’s first-party aircraft, sadly. I recommend avoiding them if you want realism.
