Hi there, Which planes have the working Auto Pilot (AP) ? I have tried using TBM but that AP doesn’t seem to work for me and was wondering which planes have the working AP? Any help is greatly appreciated. TIA
I am pretty sure that other than the Pitts, Extra, 152 and the Solo are the only ones that don’t have a working AP. Can’t remember for sure but maybe one of the Cubs too.
You will need to more specific. The AP in the TBM does not currently have any issues that I am aware of. What procedure are you using to engage the AP? Exactly. Step by step.
Cessna 172 steam I fly works perfectly.
I think the letter Z is supposed to activate the AP, Is that correct?
The Citation CJ4 with Working Title Mod has probably the best working autopilot
I have been pressing the letter Z that’s the only one that I think is for the AP…
OK, that’s a start.
And what happens when you push Z
? Or maybe more importantly, what doesn’t happen?
What are you expecting to happen?
Hi there, That the plane would follow the path and have a normal route and would keep straight and level
off…And not make a nose dive…nothing happens when I press the Z.
You can try these

TBM AP works as well as in any other AP plane in the sim. You likely didn’t hit the AP enable switch as part of your startup procedure. It’s on the upper overhead panel completely to the right. It needs to be in the upmost position in order for the AP to function.
That was the problem…Thanks…
BTW, one advantage of a Sim is to be able to do things you cannot do IRL (eg like turning off engine damage) so to be able to place EVERY aircraft into autopilot (AP) mode would be very handy. You would not need to add unreal AP controls to the cockpit, just allow keys to be set for AP controls. Someone on the Forum advised how to do that for the Spit and it is great - just a one number change in the code. Cheers
afaik

Nice list but something doesn’t add up.
8 Longitude
1 Longitude
Links included, feel free to fix it.
I made the list from the panel.cfg file. If it referenced the AS1000 or AS3000 I included it in the list. I don’t fly the Longitude, so I don’t know its panel.
Could it possibly be a backup AP?
I noticed this mod mentions AS1000.
“MD302X is an improvement mod for MSFS default MD302 unit (aka AS1000 backup). Currently, it adds a one-hour battery that allows the unit to work in case of an electrical failure.”
