Is AI controlled aircraft working?
I put it on and set the number of aircraft but don’t ever see any AI controled planes.

plenty in the air yes. On the ground at gates and such yes, rarely taxiing tho. But it also depends on real traffic being extremely low compared to last decade thanks to this pesky human bug going around

I saw a couple pass by on the VR map - but haven’t actually seen one in the game yet.
They are around if you look hard enough i followed a couple in my drone.
As for ai water traffic none though.
Im sure all ai traffic is still a work in progress though.
What triggers ai planes I noticed is messing around with the time/weather slider it spawns their fly schedules just like FSX. Don’t expect a ton of air traffic in certain places like small islands and you can’t expect to launch a flight an instantly see ai traffic in the air. It just may not be any around at the time of your flight.
I just circled around Dubai and the water is full of water traffic… Really, full!
Cruise ships, oil tankers, boats… everything

Both live traffic and offline AI Traffic work just fine, I just took of From Sedona in my c152 following a AI C172 also taking off, was pretty fun taxiing behind him and taking off behind him. Even followed his convo on the ATC.

patrick I can tell you that wasn’t the case when I was in S Korea yesterday after coming back from flying through the Typhoon, 100% AI traffic had nothing while live traffic had a few jets flying around and landing at Incheon (though a lot of the time they aborted landings for being to far left of the runway or way to high) the 2nd AI I saw land was very slow and then just parked on the taxiway.
Having live traffic on wasn’t worth it though considering the stuttering it was causing.

Not talking about real traffic, I mean AI traffic.
As for real traffic, the number of planes is much lower than what is actually flying on flightaware.
I’ve had A.I. Traffic (not talking about live A.I. Traffic) set to 100% since I got the sim on release and to date I’ve seen a grand total of 3 A.I. planes. I’ve hung around Heathrow (one of the busiest airports in the world in normal times) and seen nothing. Zero. Zilch. Same goes for other large international hubs. Nothing at all. Perhaps the odd distant light in the sky, but nothing ever arrives or departs.
It would be interesting to see if there was any wake turbulence.
