Who is satisfied with FS2020 and enjoys this great product? Hint: NOT who is dissatisfied

It is hands down the best $1 I ever spent. LOL

In all seriousness, there is much to appreciate about this sim. I just wish IFR was modelled completely in the avionics. No, don’t expect a “study level” Garmin simulator. Do expect to be able to enter/manage/change flight plans – including approaches – in flight. This is core functionality that should have bene there but isn’t.

That’s a really cool post… thanks! Looks really nice… and those screen shots are fabulous!

Yes i’m still satisfied! I see Asobo is working on it and let’s be honest there are many things that you can improve yourself if you just use the search here in the forum! After the update, I didn’t really find the graphic until I read and reset everything and then reset all graphic options. The houses that didn’t fit because they were too high, well, I’ll just use the patch from the forum until it is fixed and everything is fine. I think these are small things if you do your research. I would not change anymore but look forward to what’s to come! Helicopter, VR, world updates, etc.

Best game I’ve ever downloaded :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes::+1:

Nice pics but I think you need to swap to a different career. Hourly salary: 16.06 $ / H ?

Been flying sims since early 1980’s. I love this sim because it has a lot going for it and a lot of potential, as well as being very beautiful. It is only the beginning!

I’m also loving my time playing this sim. Sure there are things that aren’t right but I can live with them. I believe the devs are working to improve things and make it amazing. Just the other day I was amazed by the auto gen scenery at a bush strip in my area. In FSX there would have been no challenge landing as it was rendered as a fairly perfect dirt runway but in 2020 I was a little concerned about my choice of aircraft. It was a very narrow and short strip! I made the landing ok but my Caravan couldn’t build up enough speed to clear the trees on departure…

All in all having fun with it. Just have to remember it’s a game!

You might try this - it has worked well for me so far, and has gotten good reviews here on the forum. Cheers!

I agree with both of you. I remember tweaking FSX following a certain NickN’s suggestions and it was quite the trick. Thanks Nick. Then, the closing of Aces Studio signaled the beginning of my loss of interest. I went through a period of years when I would fire off FSX only sporadically and I pursued other PC interests. I never got into X-Plane or P3D as I did not feel like learning a new simulation from scratch and I felt my old computer was not really up to the task. My old PC with Windows 7 ran very well and I really did not want to get Windows 10. I finally bit the bullet in 2019 and got a good gaming PC even though I don’t do PC games at all, I just wanted to be able to run Windows 10 and new apps properly. I’m so glad I did, I learned about Flight Simulator’s second coming and I began to get excited again. It turns out my PC runs Flight Simulator perfectly and I love the sim, imperfect though it may be at the present time. I’m certain it will become very good very soon. Yes, I have the 10-story buildings where they should not be (one of them just across the street from my home since 1.9.3.0) but I’m willing to live with that for now.

The new Flight Simulator is a dream come true for me and I could not be happier.

I just installed the fix by CptLucky8 and it works perfectly for me. Thanks Pilot1811.

Thank CptLucky8, not me!

I thanked him a few minutes ago and with a picture of the offending building that used to block my view.
This sim is getting there.

I love it.

I only fly VFR for now, but that was main plan form the beginning having seen what was coming during the Alpha, and that’s only because I’m not an Airbus or 747 type of person. (The forum Alpha tag eater ate my Alpha tag!)

I’ve GA’d the heck out of it though, it’s genuinely exciting to look out the window now and visit new places. One day in the near future, when PMDG release their 737 (and assuming it’s good…) I’ll make the complete switch from X-Plane.

But for now, MSFS 2020 is for amazing GA flights and X-plane gives me my 737 fix!

Thanks so much to the OP and all contributors, for this helpful and refreshing thread

1 million copies sold, and I’ve got the feeling that the overall customer satisfaction is far more positive that one could think while browsing the topics reopening the same scars everyday.

And what I definitely enjoy even more than just the MSFS-Sim …

Views like those, where neither P3d nor XP can keep pace with, even if I flew both for years …
