We had some basic options in MSFS 2020, like airport lift scalers, road traffic, fauna and such. In 2024 these are gone. It was basic then, now we have nothing.
Now we have a lot of issues currently on Xbox with ■■■■■■ graphics, poor LOD, yes I know its the same for a lot on PC as well.
Which makes me think, if we had a decent set of graphical options like on PC we could run the sim to the best we can and maybe improve things in some areas.
I mean a low/mid end PC has the options, to get it performing to best possible by tweaking things, why not Xbox as well?
Either its not possible or Asobo just think players on console are idiots and don’t know what they are doing.
Please Asobo let us have the graphical options, not just the basic ones we had before but a better set like on PC.
I believe the idea was the PCs vary wildly and so you need to be able to tweak the settings for what works best for you

FS2020 worked fine for me on Xbox Series X flying a combination of GA and Airliners (A310 & PMDG 738) prior to the LOD nerf that was SU15 and I never once had the black screens that plagued so many. But this is because I kept my life settings (aircraft, cars, ships etc) at zero, kept photogrammetry off and didn’t use highly detailed 3rd party airports. Now instead of the dynamic LOD system that we are supposed to have, we have a blanket nerf to suit the people who are flying the PMDG 738 into FlyTampa Corfu (to pick a known bad combination) with hundreds of other addons instead of something more flexible. We know that high LOD works because it did before for most people. So let us have it back and those that get black screens can turn it down if they need to
Yes nailed it, this is what I think it is, nerfed to suit certain players, but those that want to fly basic aircraft, low flying suffer as well.
I mean all round the sim graphically Is a mess currently and that needs sorting as thats a different issue as well, but I think going forward they could consider graphical options for those that fly advanced airliners and those that just do GA.
Please please MS/Asobo give Xbox graphical option sliders.
We cannot turn down the amount of stupidly placed inappropriate AI parked aircraft, some small grass GA fields (EGCL Fenland for example) there is no room to taxi because of parked A320s on a short grass field. Please give us options to adjust these things such as parked aircraft, road traffic, Ships etc.
Also the VFX such as dust is WAY over the top. Please let us choosr what options we want to see.
Also forum team dont just post as see another thread as they are not viable options for console we dont have the same sliders as PC and we need them desperately
Agree with the hideous amount of “dust”. I’m not actually sure what the clouds of dust are supposed to represent……..from limited fiddling, does seem temperate related.
