Why is there no B737-800NG in MSFS?

Hello,
the Title says it all, why is there no B737-800NG in MSFS by default?
There are a lot of Airbus and a lot of older Planes, but no B737-800NG ?

Matthias

Likely they could not get licensing. But also the a320 is a LOT simpler to learn for players interested in airliners.

If you need your 738 fix, PMDG got you covered!

Thanks, i know there is the nice PMDG, but i am looking for a default B737-800NG to be used with a Homecockpit Suite.
You can not use PMDG for that.

Matthias

Why can’t you use the pmdg for a home cockpit?

Well…Unableee

The PMDG has its own System Logic and so it can not be used with a Homecockpit Suite. ( which replaces the Aircraft Systems )

Everything in the PMDG 737 can be controlled by stuff like to spad.next, fsuip, etc. So not sure what you are trying to say.

FSUPIC spad.next

Please tell me your trolling

In a Homecockpit you have more then only one PC mostly, connected in a private Network.
On the Main PC runs the MSFS and mostly the Software for the Homecockpit like Sim-Avionics.
This Software makes it possible to display the PFD, ND, EFIS on a networked PC.
That is not possible with PMDG as example.
Also this Software controls the Airplane, so the controls like Aileron, Elevator and all the Switches are set up in this software and the logic for the Aircraft Systems is done by this Software and not by the Aircraft itself.

Well, I do not think there will ever be a default 737NG as Asobo probably sees there are options for that aircraft so no reason to create one themselves unless they decide to just surprise us out of now where with one.

I have heard of Prosim for your style of installation, I don’t know more

I still don’t get the difference with the default A320? That wouldn’t be possible on such a setup either?

I have a ready to use Homecockpit for a B737-800NG.
So a Airbus is not really helpfull

You were refering to the airbus in your original post, as that there was an Airbus but no Boeing. Hence the confusion

I refer to a Airbus ??
I wrote that there are a lot of Airbus available, but no B737-800NG.

Matthias

What he means:

How would a default 737 be different than a PMDG 737?

Why would a default 737 work on your setup?

Sim-Avionics provide detailed avionics packages that interface with Prepar3D to create an immersive simulator experience. Ideally suited to full size cockpit environments.

So ask them

Thanks, but i am sorry…Flighdeck Solutions ?
I have no components of FDS. Is FDS in any way related to Sim-A ?
