Why not the "other" business jets?

Yeah, I wasn’t 100% sure if FSReborn had gone public with the Phenom 300, so thought it safer to delete my comment.

They have confirmed with me that it is public and it will, like the soon-to-release Piper M500 be 150% awesome. The featured a preview in their stream on the M500. This should take you to the right spot:

Can you say more about the Mustang? The initial reviews I saw were a bit middle of the road. What kind of depth does it have?

There was also the Iris PC-24 but they have not mentioned it again in about a year.

Sad that there has been minimal movement in this area. Still holding out for a (MSFS) Bombardier or Gulfstream representation.

Gulfstream will not license its aircraft because of its brand identity. They do not want their high-end products associated with a video game. Gulfstream is a training partner with FlightSaftey International and FSI has been their training launch partner for a number of products. They have also licensed their products to CAE.

The Supertank debacle, knew that was coming, has proven to all developers who think they do not have to pay license fees, that if you take that path lawyers are waiting. I expect this will bubble down to avionics as well. So, if you want to build a Falcon well you will have to get a license from Dassault and Honeywell.

I never understood why developers for FS and XP thought they did not have to pay for someone else’s IP.

One of the reasons I am making a Phenom 300E, is one of my favourites airplanes of all time… and it was so badly done I just could not bare it… so I want to do it right and as it should be. We got the base 3D completed in Blender / 3DS, as soon as M500 is out the next stage will be animating it, and start the process to make the flight model, etc.

What sort of long range business jets you would like? just curious…

My goodness, I somehow missed that stream! I just watched it from the hour mark you had it start at and the Phenom looks absolutely phenomenal! The level of detail shown is incredible! The M500 also looks amazing! I’ll definitely be grabbing both of those!

I’d have to fly the Mustang again to give a fair opinion at this point. I also have the GTN750 on it using JDs mod, which I should probably remove for an accurate assessment. (I just don’t like the G1000🥺) I might use it for one of my next flights over the weekend so I can reevaluate it and go into more details.

It looks incredible! I’m going to watch the entirety of the above posed video over the weekend. Both aircraft look amazing!

In response to my preferred long range business jets, my first instinct was to say the Embraer Legacy 650, which was my favorite aircraft in X-Plane 11. I just looked up the range and it’s 3,900…so not even it would work for that 4,200 mile tour leg I mentioned above. To be fair, I don’t usually ever do long flights. It’s rare I do anything over 1,000 miles, so I’m likely fly things like the Phenom 300E more often.

That said, some of the longest range business jets I’d really love are the Bombardier Global 8000 or 7500, (or 6000, or 5000) Dassault Falcon 8X (7X, 5X) and I won’t bother mentioning anything by Gulfstream, although I can dream.

I’ll likely end up doing that aforementioned leg with the PMDG BBJ, even though I don’t know how to fly that  I don’t believe we have an ACJ for an Airbus equivalent yet.

Both will be very well worth it!

Re: the Mustang. I was tempted by it when it came out as I don’t mind the G1000, but there was really never much buzz about it.

I love the CJ4 with the Wooslemod but for me, it had one very annoying glitch at the moment - I can’t pop the PFD out onto one of my instrument monitors and I find it pretty hard to read it otherwise. Which kind of makes it unflyable for me right now. Its weird because I can get the MFD and even the MCDU screens to pop out no problem. Hey ho. I asked WT on their Discord and no one else has reported it so its gotta be something in my setup. The usual elimination process has started…

I wished MS/Asobo would have been able to get a license to do one as a expert series from Dassault and Honywell (avionics).

Considering they completely borked the Pro Line Fusion Avionics shoving a G3X Touch in the King Air and pretending that nothing is wrong, do you really want Asobo to be in charge of something as complex as the Honeywell Easy?

Wished Asobo could have added Dassault aircraft as AI traffic but then Asobo came to an agreement with Embraer instead to do some of their aircraft including bizjets.

man a praetor 600 or a falcon2000 would be sweet.

I would prefer a Falcon 900 or 7X.

Edit: if this thread is about Asobo’s next aircraft then no, no more aircraft. They released FS24 with so many aircraft already, we will likely never see a study level version of those default aircraft.

Well, we have seen how not expert the expert series is with the ATR. Better let some 3rd party come up with something rather than another borked Asobo creation. Asobo is really good in making half baked aircraft, done just well enough so that no 3rd party developer deems it profitable to make a proper one. As soon as Asobo starts touching Dassaults, there likely will never be a proper one for MSFS, just as there is no hope for a study level ATR.
