Does anyone have any insight to know if the upcoming hotfix will help resolve the FBW A320 issues that began after SU5?
No. We don’t know. As usual.
Even when they say something is fixed, doesn’t mean they push that to prod I’m afraid.

Fingers crossed. The FBW A320 is my favorite plane to fly like a lot of other people.
The development version is working fine and its better than the stable.
Download and try it vía FBW installer.
And performance is amazing after SU5.
No stutters at complex and bussy airports.

I tried that but was unable to get the autopilot to work unless the AP procedures are different between the two versions.
yes its different.. the stable version still using the default Asobo autopilot which wrong in so many ways and far from accurate while the development version using fully custom autopilot and behave much more like the real aircraft

Yep same here, been using the Dev version for a few days only issue i encountered is a CTD on the first atempt to load the aircraft, just re launched MSFS again selected the A32nx and no issues since.
Yes the latest Dev version works great. The Ap is improved but in its basic operation not different from the other versions.
Maybe post a screenshot in order to find out what your troubles are. Or go to the FBW discord server, they have amazing fast and competent support (considering that it is free one wonders why Asobo can’t get a meaningful support going).
It’s not perfectly fine. I’ve had several flights that have worked, but one that didn’t. I was unable to set managed mode for speed/heading/altitude and it instead forced me to set speed manually, fly by heading (that I think was ignored, the plane was just banking constantly) and V/S flickered on/off in the PFD multiple times a second.
After making a full 360 and coming back over the runway, against my will, I regained control and could finally enter managed mode, and the flickering V/S stopped.
I’ve also seen many comments about this flicker on the forums.
This has been the case on multiple of the latest dev versions (I always update and check github commit changes before flying).
