My question would be, is it possible to set different wind speeds in the simulator for each layer of air? Unfortunately, I was not able to set different wind dishes at different heights. I attached the picture of what I mean.

Just click “add wind layer”, and keep adding levels as you desire, then make sure you click the “save as” box (the only one lit up to the right of the “clear skies” box in your screenshot) and save it under a different name. After that, it will show up below the preset weather situations, and then you just select that setup if you want it again.

The problem is that even though I set different wind strength, all elevation layers have the same strength wind. I don’t understand why … What could be the problem?
Are you loading a standard preset, or the file you saved after you made all the changes to the wind/gust speed/direction and added all the levels you want?
I’ve set up several additional weather setups which include various wind effects, and don’t seem to have the problem you’re seeing.
If you’re saving a new file after you made all your changes, and then starting your flight with that new file, and still not seeing the changes you’ve made to the wind setup, then you probably do have some kind of bug.
I haven’t seen any other threads that with this issue, but I may have missed one somewhere along the way.
