I completely understand the AI engine placing windsocks in odd locations or making a best guess as to where they ought to be placed.
What I don’t understand is why the SDK doesn’t have an included exclusion zone around a windsock to prevent this sort of thing:
If the AI places a windsock, then the foliage generator needs to respect an area around the windsock to prevent them being placed in trees/foliage.
I’d say the same requirement is needed for AI-placed beacon towers. I find those in the middle of a clump of trees and difficult to see, as well.
