Winwing's full-size Airbus FCU

Frame generation makes it flicker.

To me it only runs in DX11. Actual software and firmwareupdate done. In dx12 i do not have any reaction accept that the power is on, no sync. But with DX11 Fenix A320 is doing well and FBW the stable version only. May be a complete systemstart will fix the DX12 problen. I´ll see in the evening. And, no flickering here and FG works fine.

This thing seems to be having a few teething troubles.
I use DX11 as DX12 doesn’t seem to work very well on my setup so no problem there. So will screen flicker affect me?
However I do use legacy rather than lock mode. Blue highlights annoy me too.
Are these issues being addressed as I have this unit on pre-order but haven’t paid yet and I don’t know whether to wait a while.
There seems to be little technical info on their web site and I can’t find any kind of forum on their products.
Are they on discord?

Unfortunate Frame Generation causes the flicker as that is one of the primary benefits of DX12

Jepp, for now the Fenix a320 works with DX12 and WW FCU. Just needed to restart the PC.
The flickering in combination with FG is already there, but is´s so low frequent that is really doesn´t hurt me. Would this be nice to have a FENIX a320 with a weatherradar mod, too … “dreamingmode on..”

Yes, I can confirm, received and installed today, with DX12 and FG disabled, there is no flickering.

Update: with DX12 and FG enabled, the flickering appear only when focus it is on MSFS, if focus is on another application, flickering stops

Just got 30 hours payment left to go and I can’t make up my ■■■■ mind if it’s worth it or not regards getting it, Plus it’s worth it or not?

Does anyone think it’s worth it? Options?

I depends on what you mean by “worth”, I would not know if buying a car is worth the money for you - all depends on your economy.

But what I can say its by far worth it to me, both in increased immersion level, practicality and what you get for the price. If you want something like this its a bargain for what you get for this price. Considering other options is not really even worth wasting time on, unless you want to pay multiple times this price for small to non improvements.

We’re see, I have gone ahead and paid it and now waiting to go though the system for shipment

Don’t think you’ll regret it dude. I was impressed with the quality the moment I took it out of the box. Software’s a little weird but you’ll have an easy time with it.

As of today’s latest MSFS beta update (or maybe it was SimAppPro updating as well) - the unit appears to behave nicely with DX12/frame generation, as well as “legacy” cockpit controls mode (instead of “lock”, which used to be required) - wondered if i missed an announcement or if it’s just a fluke or what. Anyone else under similar circumstances who can confirm or deny?

Its the latest version of simapppro. Stops the flickering.

I posted this question earlier but didn’t get any responses: are many of you getting notifications that your pre-order is ready for purchase? I pre-ordered on 27 March and still haven’t heard anything.

Just log into the website, sign in with your name and password, and press and order now on the product page. It will go to the payment and shipping section.

I have problem using FCU with DX12 even with last firmware and last simapppro. I have AMD GPU (Rx 7900 gre) and it appears like this :

With DX11 everything works well.
Anyone with AMD GPU has same problem?

Have not experienced this. Is this in the Fenix?

Yes it’s Fenix

Right, I tried that, but each time it just went to pre-order again. But coincidentally, finally today I got the payment email, so I just submitted payment.
