Oh when it´s done you will absolutely love it and praise it daily. Because it will be the BEST aircraft ever made in Fenix quality.
Listen it´s even singing to you in it´s own voice of hydraulics and fans and buttons
Beautyful, isn´t it?
The symphony of pumps!
But of course only the A350 has these cool Star Trek seats that is true, that´s why I definitely need an A350 too in the hanger. The seats alone are worth it!
In the meantime you will fall in love with this… I am sure you won´t even miss the A350 too much when having this beast
A lot of work was recently done to make that beast of a plane as much alive as it can be visually, so you can really feel you have the real plane in front of you. While we developed a completely new wing flex system, we also added some more details that we hope you’ll like!
In this first clip, you can see we added a surface vibration model that will shake plane elements when you cross a tarmac patch or…… overrun the runway.
The massive stabiliser (almost the wing span of an A320…) will react to those vibrations, but furthermore it will bend from aerodynamic forces of the elevator surfaces. The whole aft cone structure of the plane will also have a torsional stress from the rudder aerodynamic forces.
And of course, the new wing flex system is reacting to fuel mass. If you look really close, you could probably guess where is the fuel only by looking at the wing shape. This will eventually be noticeable as on the real airplane, where the fuel management system transfers fuel on the inner part, or to the exterior part of the wing depending on the flight phase.
Uuuh yessss flight simulation has become so awesome and realistic and of such a highest visual fidelity that I am now sure I will reincarnate either as a jet, or as a pilot.
That wingflex is so next level I now finally understand how these A350 and A380 from Qatar Airlines got these paint problems. Maybe the stretching and moving of the material surface in flight and the extreme summer heat was a pit too much for the paint.
On the small planes I have flown the wings are barely moving at all (only in strong gusts just a bit of wingflex was visible), but this beast really sets sail with ailerons and rudder of the size of a several stories high building with the wings and the vertical stabilizer move and bend half a meter up and down left and right constantly during flight.
at this stage (WIP) the cockpit and external modeling looks good enough, but the pax cabin is in absolute need of further work!
it looks kinda cartoonish.
yes, but there is no denying its positive and amazing impact on immersion in the sim!
especially when you know that FSDreamTeam is working on adding pax to the gsx.
Insane! Probably a lot better than PMDG stuff and for sure miles ahead of inibuilds in airliners quality.
And the price is really very attractive even better than Fenix.
I just hope perfectionism does not get into the team and they eventually release this, I really don’t care if the cabin could be improved, heck I paid money for an airliner that couldn’t do VNAV and didn’t have DIRECT TO so I can certainly deal with some details for this price range.
