FlyByWire at least understands that audio callouts need to be loud. It is a joy watching the landing part of the video. I still don’t understand why no other aircraft has clearly audible callouts, they’re all very low volume. In the two Boeings you can barely hear them.
On the other hand, it’s disappointing how they disregard Xbox simmers.
They were limited with what they can do with the A32NX due to it being tied to default. And despite that, the result is a model testament.
Can’t imagine the level of depth and details they finally unleashed in the A380X. This a dev that by the very least, deserves to have complete control over a default plane in MSFS 2024.
I actually still suspect the A380X will be a default plane in the MSFS 2024. I stand by this prediction
There was… a … black screen in the cockpit.
I saw that and said “oh no, here we go again!”.
Being a freeware I hope for an early access release soon to get feedback and bug reports, nobody will complain about their purchase or ask for their money back.
Hahaha omg are you serious… I mean, i have worked in customer services and I’m not at all supprised…
Did you feel tempted in like saying…
“oh sure, we will refund you in download data that you used to download our ‘free’ product”
I hope you guys implement sim rate…
I know, well… Assuming that because every single detailed airbus has a simrate limitation, that there must be a key coding that prevents stable simrate, but I do hope you guys can find a work around…
After doing a couple of flights at 8x with the 773…
Like many YT pilots have said…A330 driver promotes the simrate “you guys are doing a 8 hour flight for free when we actually get paid”
I really hope, even 4x is enough to take the edge of essentially replicating a typical real world A380 flight…
In 2 months time this plane will have been in development for 3 years. What could they possibly be doing? Ah, there needs to be a featured aircraft for MSFS2024 - here it is. There has to be something to entice people into purchasing it!
Their day-jobs? This is all work done as their free time allows. They are continually enhancing the A320 Neo as well. Tbh, they are doing as good quality of work as many dedicated full-time developers!
I fully appreciate that they have day jobs and do all that in their spare time. What they have produced so far is absolutely great.
However, some current developments are around the best way to simulate finger prints on the touch screens or make the plastic covers look “used”.
These might not be the features that most enthusiastic users would miss if they were not available in the first version.
I wonder why they don’t release it, finally getting the appreciation from all over the world.
I have nothing but respect, gratitude and admiration for the FBW team. Their A320N was the reason I didn´t quit FS2020 in the early days.
That said, I don´t understand either why we were given the opportunity to use the A320 while they were developing it, and now it is different with the A380…
If you follow their Github branch submissions, it looks like they are still updating some fairly significant systems. Engine reversers, avionics, GPWS… Hard to predict when it will be “good enough” for the rest of us.
You wouldn’t have much fun, using the A380 in its current state of development.
And even when we release it (to get more developers involved), it will still be far from finished but kinda flyable.
