Thanks for an absolutely brilliant add on - just keeps getting better and better.

I do have a question though. Cold and dark I get 40fps at an average airport on my (older) system). As soon as I turn on the glass cockpit gauges fps drops to max low 20s and really never goes above that. I had a similar experience with G3000 and WT were very helpful - now improved. Setting refresh rate to low makes no difference.

I never noticed this drop as much in earlier versions in the CJ4 which is a real shame.

By comparison the excellent new JF PA28 turbo with the PMS50 GTN gives me 40+fps in a similar situation.

My system is an i5 4690k, 32Gb DDR3 RAM, GTX1080ti 11Mb graphics, WIn 10 pro latest update. Running on 2Tb NVMe SSD.

I suspect the graphics card is not being pushed. Applied most of the advised optimisations.
Any help or suggestion very much appreciated.

We’ve improved over the default CJ4, but the way the instruments are coded (especially the displays) could use a lot of refining and we just haven’t had the opportunity to do an optimization pass, because it would involve a lot of rewrite of the original sim default display code frameworks.

In this case, the CJ4 update did not really change much code, so it is more likely that it is a SU4 issue that made it worse. I would assume you would probably get around the same to slightly worse FPS in the default plane.

It’s definitely something we’re aware of, but will take some work to rewrite what we need to, so it may be further down the road.

Stupid question but how can I tell if I’m in the WT CJ4? Downloaded the mod, it’s in my Community folder but I haven’t noticed anything different. Per the manual, I can call up the version number on the FMC but those keys aren’t working. Any tricks to installing / running this mod?

Hi. Was wondering if there are plans to bring this to xbox through the market place. I’ve noticed that the G1000NXi is now available through the market place.

Working Title has no announced plans for the CJ4. All efforts are on getting NXi out of Early Access.
