keyboard shortcut for entering waypoints doesn’t seem to work on xbox.

The keyboard data entry shortcut for entering waypoints is a great idea. I’m using the sim on xbox and when I click the keyboard icon it opens the xbox keyboard dialogue box and I type in the waypoint and hit enter. I’m returned to the waypoint data entry field but the waypoint I typed in in the keyboard dialogue box is missing (see photo of the keyboard dialogue box on xbox that pops up when you click on the keyboard icon). is this a bug or am i missing something?

bearing arc on MFD – how to remove?
Does anyone know how to remove the bearing arc on the MFD? (see photo)

I’ve watched YouTube clips and other users don’t seem to have this displayed.

North Up won’t show it, Track Up will. I’m not sure if you turn it off in Track Up though.

Yeah, that virtual keyboard didn’t work in the previous version, either.

Anyone know how well this works so far with the RealSimGear G1000 unit?

You have to adjust that in map settings. There are a lot of things that the map can show

Thanks Mat.

Was the autopilot LVL mode removed deliberately? It doesn’t work for me at all when using this g1000

I’ve strange flightplans, when I create them with the planer inside MSFS, afterwards in the garmin they look as you can see in the screen shot

The map show everything fine

What do I wrong?

My G1000 NXI MFD disappeared on the SR22 and DA40 (didn’t bother testing anything else). Simultaneously, I cannot access any of the GPS controls on the PFD, and the auto pilot won’t let me activate anything besides ROL. Altitude selection is limited to one of three options: -100,0,100.

What just happened? Everything was working perfectly earlier today. Hadn’t touched anything.

following your reply, I re-installed NXi today Mat. Sadly I still have issues. Using the Honeycomb throttle I can’t use AP . and I use FSPanel and it starts at 99000 ALT and the controls do not work with AP just like the honeycomb Throttle. As of now NXi is uninstalled again.

Hi - sorry to hear about your problems. I am very much an amateur at all this, but can confirm that my Honeycomb Bravo TQ works fine with the G1000 Nxi.
I have no idea about your “FSPanel”, but thought you might want to know that for some (well me at least anyway), the TQ is fine with Nxi.
Good luck. Regards, Alasdair (aka Flybasher…)

Same problem here

@Bishop398
I have noticed similar behavior. It appears that the first waypoint in the plan becomes the destination airport itself, then it wants to fly back and begin the plan. The only way I have gotten around that is to activate the second leg manually shortly after takeoff. I have also noticed that I must manually activate the approach or else it will not capture the ILS.

This is after the latest update. The previous update was flawless. One more thing is having to manually make the TAS operational is cumbersome. It may be true to life, but couldn’t just pressing the traffic softkey be enough?

Here another example
EDDH to ESGG

Same flight in the MSFS map

G1000 NXi Not showing the TOD and disconnecting the GP on an RNAV approach. Did I do something wrong? Also, using the APR button versus activating the approach in the PROC tab?

How is your destination ending up as an enroute waypoint?

It just started happening since the last NXi update. I don’t know why. It had been flawless.

I tested one of these earlier in the thread, and I couldn’t find a way to enter your destination in such a way as to have it appear twice like that.

Can you shoot a video of you entering it?
