I think it would be good if someone from Asobo can give us statement about how far is the progress of 2020 to 2024 world data alignment, and give clear change log or release notes for everything that has changed.
In recent beta builds I saw sudden change of generic airports, trees placement data, and bing scenery behaviors, and sometimes it happened few days late after a new beta build release without any notice or change log in the beta news section.
For example, missing WU19’s PG that disappeared in first beta build is now back, but none of change log mentioned it as fixed. Trees on water issues are now gone also without notice, although it’s likely due to Asobo is undoing the tree mask. And generic airports, I remember sudden change few days after the second beta build, also without notice.
This is because I’m worrying that SU16 will be released with unfinished world data alignment, or some element is left behind after release.
I second this. I repeatdly ask if there’s an official mentioning of the texture alteration since it is obvious the night lighting is different now. Why keeping this unannounced?
Much of Arizona doesn’t observe daylight savings time. Furthmore quite a lot of the time zones in MSFS need fixing. Thankfully there is a mod for this that works in 20/24 on flightsim.to if you’re a PC user.
Has the aerial imagery regressed in SU16? I’ve been trialling 2024 but 2020 scenery still looks sharper and more detailed and concerned this will take a hit when SU16 goes live.
