So doing this thread becomes harder. In addition to real world stuff, that doesnt let me fly as much as i want, i have problems with the sim now too. CTDs, controls acting up, resulting in crashs and so on. At least i was able to do my benelux flight (allthough i skipped luxemburg, because i was fed up) and eventually get to Hamm Lippewiesen.
This was the tour i planned:

The next few shots are from the netherlands and belgium. beautiful landscape. I like the countrys at the north sea so much. beeing born in east frisia, raised next to hamburg and having family heritage in Föhr (an north german island), you will see many shots from the next few trips.
I think this is Schiphol but i’m not sure. somewhere around here i had one of many crashes. and I’m simply not sure anymore if its Schiphol or Brussel.

And on to the north basically flying over a freat part of the ruhr area.
Here is a shot from the Hengstey-Lake. Where the river Ruhr is dammed. You can see the old Pumpspeicherkraftwerk. In times with to much electric power, the water from the reservoire is pumped to that small pool at the top of the valley. When electric power is needed, the have let it flow down and power turbines which generate electric power again. its not active anymore. Im still stunned at how accurate the depiction is. I paddled a lot there with my kayak this summer.
The town where i live has its own small airfield which is only for gliders (Lünen/Lunen Lippeweiden). its nestled nicely next to the river Lippe.

from here we just follow the river to our destination Hamm Lippewiesen with a short circle over Werne (the city where i work, and yes my work place is in the sim too)

we will move to the coast of the north see next and do some island hopping around the german islands, maybe visit Papenburg Shipyard, where my father worked when i was born. definitly visiting Hamburg and then moving to the coast again visiting all the places, that are important to me. Hope i dont bore you
