Oh and BTW on 11th of november is in Poland celebrated Independence Day, so this World Update will be a great birthday gift 
In Gdańsk my local aeroclub has a tradition of celebrating this day by exhibiting assembled glider at the old Targ Węglowy ("Kohlenmarkt" in German - I bet Jorg’s father will know where it is ) and letting children to “pilot” it

Jorg explained that they tried to get a Polish plane manufacturer but Lockheed didn’t give them the license, so I assume it was PZL Mielec.

I’m very curious if the Kaliningrad region will go untouched or if the WU will add something there too, like a few POI. There are already 2-3 handmade glider ports there, so it’s not impossible.
They already got updated in the Central Eastern Europe WU. Praha and Ljubljana are both photogrammetry cities now.
But if youre saying they should get another WU, I’m with you! 
There are so many cool castles in Bohemia, just to mention one reason for a WU CEE 2.
Whats completeöy missing in eastern Europe at the moment is Romania and Bulgaria for example.
I’m not too sure the federal government would be too pleased about a plane contracted by an USA company for a French developer making circles around their strategically important base in order to make detailed 3D imagery of it

Youre talking about photogrammetry. I’m talking about POI. No requirememts for planes for POIs, as the handmade gliderports in the Kaliningrad region prove.
Indeed; there are official MS/Asobo POI’s in places where PG would be practically impossible.
totally agree. We have several cool POIs and even one bespoke airport for Cuba in the Caribbean WU, that proves regions where photogrammetry is difficult or impossible to get can also be included.
I’m very happy Poland is our next WU, just in time for my current tour across the globe
