I hope we see a hand crafted Stansted airport soon

Seriously canā€™t wait for this update, hopefully theyā€™ll remove all the trees that donā€™t belong in the Mach Loop

Mine too mate, but someone just said 2022.

Yes, Stansted is my local airport, and itā€™s the one I normally fly out of in FS2020 when Iā€™m learning new aircraft. But they never mentioned it in the Q&A, so wonā€™t be a major overhaul.

My daughter used to go plane-spotting there, and I went along once or twice, so I have a soft spot for it. Also Stow Maries airport (first time Iā€™ve seen it in a flight sim) is near where my wife was brought up, and Southend airport is near where my son now lives, so improvements to any of these would be good.

Ignore that mate due for release end of Jan 21 :+1: Said so in the recent Q&A :slightly_smiling_face:

We have two Photogrammetry cities in the UK, very few compared to lots of other countries including France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Australia, Canada and USA so we are well and truly due for some attention. the UK is a beautiful country to fly over too with spectacular scenery in Wales, Scotland and England such as the Dales and Cumbria. Its a great place to fly low and slow when the scenery is accurate.

In English, the language we invented the word in centre.

Yes well said. I hope they do include more 3D Photogrammetry, all depends on what new data Bing have obtained.

The correct spelling is centre, itā€™s English not chimpspeak and the UK is still important enough to hundreds of millions around the world thatā€™s why they want us as allies

No need for any bad feeling here. Personally, I prefer the American spellings as they seem more phonetically correct. However, I canā€™t really see much of a problem with both spellings providing the meaning is clear and understood. Not a massive issue for me.

As for your very much throwaway comment that the UK is no longer important maybe you should consider how much free foreign aid even now we still provide, how we are always at the forefront of inventions or medical vaccines (most recently the Oxford Covid 19 vaccine ), how we are at the fore front of climate change issues, our respected universities (Cambridge/Oxford etc), the importance of London as a financial services sector, our multi cultural society where respect is given to minority groups and where everybody is welcome irrespective of religious beliefs, not to mention a democratic political election process where undisputed political leaders are elected in a matter of a couple of days rather than after weeks of dispute and legal action.

The UK still has a lot to be proud of :slightly_smiling_face:

Need Edinburgh Castle and the 3 bridges over the River Forth (and for our American friends, thatā€™s Edinboro where there is a quaint old building in the center)

Yes you canā€¦in 2022.

Wouldnā€™t it be even more phonetically correct though to spell it senter? I agree with your comments on the UK.

It would, yes, I agree. :relaxed:

Did I hear right, they are working on a brand new ā€œdrizzleā€ engine to faithfully capture the truly soul destroying grimness of the real UK countryside. Canā€™t wait!
