Today’s dev update dates the WU IV as Apr, 13th.
I wish world update 4 will have a better make up of Chamonix Mont Blanc . Correcting the wrong elevations of some of the iconic buildings [Majestic building in the town centre , Chamois Blanc and other buildings in Chamonix sued. ] Getting rid of floating night lightings . Proper depiction of the iconic catholic church near the Majestic building.
Chamonix is really and truly magical and worth visiting.

Wholeheartedly agree! Chamonix is without a doubt my favourite place on the planet.
In their monthly dev Q&A Jorg said “wait until you see Mont Blanc”. They have also alluded to the fact they want to improve the look of the Alps numerous times as they ski there.
So no doubt there will be some improvements in this update, which is very exciting!
It would be great if they modelled the Aiguille du Midi and the Gouter refuge, maybe the Brevent. Not so fussed about the town buildings themselves, other than the church perhaps.
But before all that, I think having higher res DEM is the priority and would massively improve the look of the mountains.
As I mentioned in another thread, imagine in the future if we had a ‘helicopter mountain rescue DLC’… trying to spot a stranded off piste skier in a snow storm or racing against time to rescue some injured climbers off a precarious ledge. Would be amazing I reckon!

I also wish that boats will be added to the Seine river in Paris , as well as to lake Geneva and magical lake Annecy.
Great scenic areas , desperately in needs of realism
Looking fwd to Alps improvements as well - there’s some 3rd party airports ( including Annecy ) starting to show up for the region + more altiports

doubt it. They’re doing EHRD though.
I have found that the coastlines in the Balearics are much better if you set the render scale to 200. If your PC is up to it then this is worth a try.

Have you seen it up close? You’d have to fly down a tiny alleyway to even see it!
