I’ll selfishly say Canada since it’s my home, but would also love to see Autralia and South America.

Ultimately, it’s impossible to predict. There isn’t a pattern, and it simply depends on what data they find.

My wish is for something away from Europe, since the Nordics will be the third world update in a row there.

Perhaps south-east Asia, Africa, or South America.

South-East Asia would be my preference, but let’s be honest, any place is great. It’s just a good excuse to enjoy flights I haven’t done before.

Mind you, I kind of enjoy the surprise :smiley:

Even if the moment in which they announced Japan was my favorite (Japan is simply an awesome country to fly over, and it’s always so neglected), there hasn’t been one world update announcement that made me feel less than thrilled.

South America and the Caribbean along with the Oceania nations Australia, New Zealand.
The three Guyana nations need some love.

So-called D-A-CH region…
Germany, Austria, Switzerland…

I bet that my home region (around EDTY) looks worse than any other place in the MSFS World.

So far i havent been off with my predictions, so my next best guesses will be:

Europe:

  1. Alp region and Germany
  2. Alps region and Italy

Outside Europe:

  1. Pacific region Australia and or New Zealand (including pacific Island)
  2. Canada

My top wishes would be South Africa, Argentina, China (Please, bring some love to the Zhangjiajie National Park - right now it doesn’t even have the satellite) , Turkey, Baltics and I guess India and Nepal as well. I especially mentioned those places, as they always were super neglected in every flightsim. Some of those places are barely known to even be considered by any major developer, but still have a lot of wonderful sights.

I‘ll happily take everything but if I could choose I‘d go for the Alps (but only if they sorted out the lod/mesh issues). Other regions I’d be particularly interested in are

  • The eastern Mediterranean, eg from the Aegean to the Levante
  • New Zealand
  • Some tropical islands region such as the Caribbean, Polynesia or the Philippines (but first fix the coasts)

Good point! But also there’s nothing wrong with a good discussion :slight_smile: I suspect Microsoft already know by now what World Update 6 will be as this very much depends on available data and in the last Q&A it was obvious Gaya had already put a lot of work into the Nordics well before that was announced. My wish I’ve been saying Italy for some time now so no reason for me to change my mind today :wink:
