Speaking of things launching soon, World Update 19: Brazil, Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana is releasing next week on Tuesday, March 11 ! We know many flight sim fans, particularly those from Brazil, have been waiting very patiently for this World Update, and we hope you’ll find it was worth the wait!

I guess we shouldnt have to download anything. Everything is streamed anyway

Correct, it will be streamed at release like how the other World Updates are currently available.

Happy for all the Brazilians that today they are finally getting the update they deserve. Rio has one of the most beautiful beaches and harbors in the world. Been there a few times. Arriving there by a ship is an awesome experience. Paragliding there is another experience it itself. And the night life is a whole another experience. Enjoy!!

This is very strange. I had several times fly around rio and never seen something like this. I hope this is a good sign that DEM and aerial data are being updated progressively in the background.
My hunch is marketplace goes live today, with Brazil immediately available to ‘purchase’ in order to enhance the positive feelings towards the marketplace relaunch. There is logic in Asobo taking opportunity to align world update with marketplace go live.

I never said you didn’t need it, the question I replied to was whether you would need to download it once released or whether it would be streamed

There is a presentation event of word update 19 Brazil at Campo de Marte airport (SBMT) in São Paulo with the presence of Jorg Neumann, they even showed the word update trailer there
