Yes, I understand what you’re saying about not being possible (or being extremely hard) to detail with full accuracy the northern/arctic Canada but making the airfields better, removing trees and Japanese castles from places like Alert (and other similar places) would IMO be sufficient for the northern/Arctic Canadian.
Speaking about Alert, yes I also and really enjoy your Alert Mod - It’s “a ton” better than the default version. However I would like to ask if you could fix the airport’s lights since when approaching and getting close and getting ready to land the airport lights suddenly and strangely “go/turn off” (at least at night/dark).
Canada won’t be updated in 2022. Probably not in 2023 either. Much more important markets to address first.

P.S. - Canada and Canadians are fourth largest buyers of FS2020! The first three are if I’m not mistaken, USA, France and UK and guess what? All are already covered by World Update.
So this means that Canada is the largest FS2020 buyer whose country isn’t still covered by a World Update!
AND has a lot of photogrammetric coverage as well of major cities. What is Microsoft and Asobo waiting for on this file? CF-105 Avro Arrow needs to be done as a Local Legends too!
China, Middle East, India, South East Asia, Brazil just to name a few are far more important countries/regions with larger populations and markets, as well as global appeal. Canada is really only of interest to Canadians. To the most of the world, it’s of little interest in terms of a flying destination.
How do you define “importance”? What is important to Asobo is where they can get the most photogrammetric data for the people that will pay for their program. I have heard that Canada is the fourth largest buyer of MSFS2020. So why no LOVE for Canada?
Importance is defined like everything in the business world these days…Global sales potential. Although Canada represents a fairly large sales component for MSFS, it is mainly just domestic sales. Globally there is little demand for Canadian scenery. Just look at what is offered commercially for 3rd party addons for commercial Canadian addons. It’s not a question of “No Love” for Canada. I personally would LOVE to see a Canadian World update sooner than later. However, I believe the rest of the world simply does not care about it. Or at least, would be much more interested in other regions instead.
I’ve heard Canada already got the update when USA world update was released so I highly doubt there will be a separate update just for Canada…so if you fly in the US you get to enjoy Canada in all its glory
I’m not doubting it, but where is the assertion that Canadian sales are the 4th largest MSFS market? I hope that’s true, I can’t help but feel Canada is getting the short shift here. I certainly hope Canada will get a World Update before too long? Certainly before 2023?
I think there were a small number of improvements to Canada when the USA Update was released, but it was NOT a US/Canada World Update, not even close. Is was a USA Update and just happened to include a small number of improvements north of the border.
