Would love to see this happen sometime soon. I imagine at the moment the Baltic countries are near the bottom of the list for potential future world update locations, hopefully this post can show the devs that there is at least some demand for this world update and it might be worth looking into releasing it sooner rather than later.

Agree, there’s so many things to see. Like Curonian spit - one of the Natural Wonders of Europe but also multiple castles and manors and so much more.
But yes, I also doubt that something will be coming out of it. I am afraid it will all be just dumped into “Eastern Europe&Russia World Update” and the whole Baltic region will only get like 1-3 POI

I think problem with the Baltics is the lag of proper data, most satellite images, street view and what not have not been updated for years, let alone stuf like PG. I would like to see a proper Tallinn airport though, currently not even the NAV data is correct, TLL VOR is missing and ILS RWY 26 ends up in front of the RWY, I believe ILS RWY 08 levels off 50 ft above ground when you keep following it, no AI traffic, they disappear after landing because there is something wrong with taxi routing or parking stands…
As I stated in my post, there is a lot of data available, Asobo just didn’t put much effort to it, unfortunately. I was able to get all satelite data of Latvia and Lithuania as a developer, and use it in commercial purposes. No problem what so ever. They were even happy that somebody at least used their imagery. This is more a matter of trying and doing, then a lack of data :c
Bing has finally replaced and updated its very old (10+ years) satellite imagery in some Baltic regions. Fingers crossed for WU this year.
