Not true entirely.
Look at Seattle for example, the Needle tower was handcrafted as it wouldn’t look as good with PG.
Same goes for the Statue of Liberty in New York.
London is definitely going to be a PG city, it’s been all but confirmed.
Yeah, I didn’t know those were handcrafted.
If the same logic goes, London must still have gotten PGed with the WU to come.
Having seen the latest Q&A theme screenshots for the upcoming World Update, I’m not sure tho if London will get PG as they simply show the drab autogenerated buildings around the landmarks such as London Eye.
Of course we are getting PG for London, that’s what is causing the delay with the release.
Sorry, I kinda lagged behind and relied on the screenshots I saw here and there only, just watched the twitch Q&A and heard Jorg uttering those beautiful words as he enumerated the cities having PG coverage in the WU III.
Yeah it should be good.
I thought that we would have the UK update today
I hope to see 1 less ATC control tower at London Gatwick. The airport does not have 2 towers. I also hope to see the famous bridge at Gatwick instead of the lowered North Terminal building, blocking the taxiway.
Two weeks? I thought they had delayed it by one week (so approximately next Tuesday)? Who says two weeks now?
Seems they are adding London underground as well. That will take ages to be completed!
You may wish to check out flightsim.com for the piers. I have done a few on the south coast. Also Burning Blue Designs have released Lydd airport which includes the Dungeness power station and lighthouses.

Yeah Yeah UK is the Next Sim Update. Gratz!
Oceanic next? Eyes first?
Loving the Japan Update!
There is a rather good “in progress” freeware version of Gatwick available on flightsim.to

Wow, have we really reached the stage where we are complaining about the LENGTH OF GRASS in a flight simulator?
Speaks volumes to how far technology has come and how spoilt we have become…
Next time just think back a few years and remember that this was the default scenery we had and got by just fine
Well it does look a bit silly when the ground staff are knee deep in grass and you cannot see the wheels of a small GA aircraft clearly at an airport. The criticism of grass being too long in airports is definitely a legitimate complaint in my opinion.
Long grass at airports and grass strips… yes, valid criticism.
Complaining that the length of grass isn’t accurate in your suburban neighbourhood… less so.
Yes but why is HMS Belfast covered in green slime?
I think Peter Venkman might be better able to answer that one…
So it’s a ghost ship
