Wrong Takeoff Runway

Brief description of the issue:

I have set the Sim to real Weather and very often i start from EDDP.
But also very often the wrong Runway for takeoff is selected.

Make sure you have that option set to OFF:

yes that option is OFF.

That happens not every time, just sometimes.

yesterdayy the same probem..
I tried 3 or 4 times and MANUALLY select RWY 26L iso of the default selected RWY 26R in EDDP and always end up at RWY 26R.

If the option above is selected or not ( it is not for sure ) .. when i MANUALLY select a different RWY, then i expect to end up on the manually selected RWY !

Thats really annoying !!

I made a mistake in my above post, that option must be set to ON if you want to start at the runway you’ve selected on the world map whatever the wind direction is. Could you try again ?
Also make sure that once you’ve selected your runway to don’t change of aircraft, it will reset the starting position: Changing Aircraft or Livery After Choosing a Parking Spot for C&D Changes the Departure Point to the Default Runway

ahh, ok…will try again later today and come back…

But as i wrote…when i MANUALLY select the starting position i can expect to start there and not anywhere else, even the option is on or even off.

No change, even with the option set to OFF or ON, makes no difference.

I startet MSFS2020, then select EDDP for TO and preselected was 08R which is correct for the actual Wind.
Then i select manually 26L and end up on RWY08R.

Really annoying.

I wonder, my first post is a long time ago, and its still not fixed.
Are the Dev’s not reading here or am i a too small member and user that the Dev’s take care of the reported issue???

Weird then. I just did the same test and no issue on my side:

Make sure ATC enforce flight plan is set to ON:

Live Weather ON, 08R selected by default due to actual wind:

Then I selected 26R. Make sure once you’ve selected 26R to don’t make any change to your plane/livery. Click “FLY”:

Plane spawned at 26R:

Do you have any addons installed ?
Could you try to start the sim in safe mode to discard that a 3rd party addon is not causing a conflict ? (it will disable your community folder and Marketplace addons): to achieve that, once into the sim, go to your Windows Task manager, terminate msfs.exe and restart the sim. You’ll get the safe mode prompt option.

Yes, i have EDDP from Digital Design installed for sure, because EDDP is Handcrafted, but not very well, even its the biggest DHL HUB ??

This time, after starting the Sim, select EDDP and it selected 26L by default.
But after starting without any manual changes, i end up at RWY08R.

Try starting the sim in safe mode as I explained above, you may have an addon/mod conflict.

Also, since you have a 3rd party addon for that airport, have you uninstalled the Asobo one that comes in the content manager ?:

EDDP is a bespoke airport included in SU7.

For sure the Asobo one is deinstalled as describet in the Manual of Digital Design EDDP.
But even in Safe Mode its the same

Do you have that issue only at EDDP ?
Could you try with the Digital Design EDDP addon uninstalled and the Asobo one installed ?

Its not Addon related, because its on other Airports too

If you have the ATC enforce flight plan set to ON and you don’t change the aircraft/livery after having selected your runway, then I don’t know where the issue could be. Maybe community will provide some additional points to check.
Have you tried the safe mode as I explained in one of the above posts ?

As i wrote, i have tried safe mode.

But i dont understand what the ATC enforce flight plan Option has to do with that ?
When i select MANUALLY the start positin, i should end up there,
wheter the option is on or off.

If ATC enforce flight plan= ON: your plane will start at the runway you’ve selected (for departure/landing) whatever is the wind direction

If ATC enforce flight plan= OFF: your plane will start at a runway (for departure/landing) based on the wind direction, even if you have selected another runway.

That is why that option must be set to ON if you want to always start at the runway you’ve selected, even if it is not the correct one based on the wind direction.
