X52 PRO - Predefined setup

Yeah, same here… Defaults are blank, filter is set on “Assigned” by default so you have to switch it to All or Essentials to start configuring your bindings. Setting the hat switches is a burden, axes are labelled and reversed without any logic and you’re headed for a lot of fiddling before even considering taking off :stuck_out_tongue:
I just hope it won’t randomly reset after, because we don’t have any useful save/load option and having to assign everything again will be deeply annoying…

Can u help me with this

How do we submit a bug report on this issue? - the defaults flash up momentarily and then the centre panel is blank and X52 Pro controls are recognised in flight. So disappointed.

Same issue, X52 PRO :frowning:

Same at my end.

This works but you still need to assign every single function manually. Initially I thought you can’t even assign them at all but switching from “Assigned” to “All” or “Essential” shows the list of bindings that can be assigned.

I got the defaults tow ork last night. There was a small 10 mb patch I had to download, not sure if its related or not. But I unplugged the x52, started MFS and then while in the control panel plugged in the x52 pro, and it asked about defaults and I was able to load them.

No problem, hope others see this too and it helps them.

I tried this but get a note that controls cannot be mapped. I have the x52 HOTAS

should it not work like this you can simply reinstall the X52 driver then it should work again, so it was for me.

I lost the controls again, on my second success getting them to work, I unplugged the x52 pro, launched the sim, then went to the controls tab and plugged it back in. It asked if I wanted to load defaults, and then they worked.

Can you use your analog axes though? Because I can’t.

Me ha pasado lo mismo. Primer vuelo con perfil predefinido correcto, y actualmente con perfil vacío sin que lo reconozca. Esperemos que pronto esté solucionado.

I have the X55 HOTAS and the axis act like they are digital although in sensitivity the behave properly as analogue.

I managed to get the game working after an 18 hours download.

Restarting the software, straight after installation completed, and then plugging in the X52, with the latest driver set confirmed as installed, and it worked straight off the bat. Key config is different and will take some learning but it works beautifully.

Nothing here.
X52pro brand new.
No mapping no profiles to find .
Fresh driver installed.
Nothing.
If i map manually the axis it does not work analog style, you move the stick and you crash down…

Very very frustrating.
Which joystick should i buy instead? Or is there a fix or workaround?

Thanks all

My X52 on device driver set - 8.0.116.0, dated 12/04/2017 is working for me.

You should not need to buy another joystick.

Not working for me. The X52 worked perfectly in the Alpha and Closed Beta but in this release it has no profile, really frustrating. I have uninstalled and reinstalled latest drivers with no luck…

You have to make sure you’re setting the Axis setting and not just the button to pitch etc there’s two options under pitch and the other ones have them as well such as roll.
