Basically exist the game but not quitting the game like press the Xbox icon on the controller and go home then you go back to the game and then it works good with the controller it works for me every time I play

Before I take a fly, I assign some fuction, such as switch to drone carema to my controller buttons. However, it did not work when flying. What is terrible is, I do not know how to end a flight and back to the main menu. When I input esc, a small window would display from which I can see there is option to refly or back to the main menu. However, when I input esc my controller will not work again and I have to quit the game then to enter again.

This game is a disaster so far hopefully they fix

Okay guys.
If youre playing on cloud on an android turn airplane mode on then off. Go bsck to the game. It shouldnt have disconnected but it takes a sec to respond. This worked for me. Full controller controls!!!

Yes you sort of have to let it reconnect and understand where the ■■■■ its being played on

Same issues here…saying the cloud controller settings is “twisted up” is an understatement

You da GOAT btw this helped out as a fix in the meantime. finally managed to fly and try the sim TWO DAYS LATER after release! Out of curiosity how did you find out? was it just messing around?

I figured it out day one, tried everything basically, and voila it snaps back to controller.

But so many that are having issues with controlling the game on other hardware ( pc, xbox) that I am wondering if they dont have the same issue.

There is another thread about this I replied in yesterday.

Will go and see now if the new patch have fixed this bug now or not…

Edit: No! Still same gamebreaking bug! You cant use controller at all on cloud, without the workaround of back to desktop and back again to game, or other tricks.

When I tried playing but my controller didn’t it didn’t work I went to give feedback after that I went back to the game it worked so I tried it again when it happened and it worked again

OK, reporting back that the (ironic) “Airplane Mode” worked in getting XBOX Cloud version of the game to recognice my XBOX controller

  1. Launch Cloud version of game
  2. At Intro Menu Screen, mouse over the icons in the upper left of screen to expand the little Xbox menu
  3. Select the 3 button option “show stream menu”
  4. Select “Toggle Full Screen”
  5. Now, open you computer settings/Airplane Mode
  6. Turn Airplane mode on…wait a few seconds, then turn it off
  7. XBOX controller with proper bindings should now work (I have done this 3 times to be sure)
  8. edit…the proper bindings part (shared with your non-cloud based install of game) seem to connect only some of the times
