Hello. I’m a new user of the Xcloud gamin. ( Cloud Gaming on Web, Tv and Fire stick… etc ) I’m trying to play for 2 days but I’m having problems with my Xbox series2 Core controller, when I play in the cloud to the MFS 2024. It doesn’t work and keyboard controls also appear ( Which I don’t have connected ). Can you tell me if it’s a software error or do I have to configure the controller somewhere? Thank you

( Juego en la nube en la Web, Tv y Fire stick.. etc ) estoy intentando jugar hace 2 dias pero tengo problemas con mi mando Xbox series2 Core, cuando juego en la nube al MFS 2024. No funciona y me aparecen también controles de teclado ( Que no tengo conectado ). Me podeis decir si es error de sotfware o tengo que configurar el mando en algún sitio? Gracias

The same thing happens to me. The functions of the controller have been changed. Speed up is with the Y and decelerate is with the A, but there is no way to use the mouse cursor of the controller and there is no way to put the external view. We will have to wait for an update to correct it.
A mi me pasa lo mismo. Las funciones del mando estan cambiadas. Acelerar es con la Y y decelerar es con la A, pero no hay forma de usar el cursor del mando en forma de raton y no hay forma de poner la vista externa. Habra que esperar a que alguna actualización lo corrija.
Well the new fix yesterday fixed the worksround.
So now its impossible to play the game since it thinks you have a keyboard, or something like that.
Cloud on xbox wont get past the first screen.
Cloud on computer get me to menu and starta flight, but once in the plane its back to keyboard setting = unplayable.
And non of the workarounds now works!
Is it only me or is everybody playing over cloud affected?!
Edit: and now when trying again over xbox it works! And without any workaround!
Dont know if its just luck or something has changed.
We will see.
Moving the controller a bit on the loading screen, might be the reason it worked now.
This is a bug from 2020 that came the last year. If you dont touch the controller it asks if you are still there, push yes and bom it goes to keyboardmode.
It happens to me the same, with a Samsung TV through Xbox Cloud and Xbox Controller but the command stops working when I try to do a mission, it changes to keyboard mode. Please a solution!
its a new issue with the patch… i just hope they fix it today cause my xbox ultimate expires in 7 days and no way in hell am i spending 20$ on it just to play flight sim
For me (running the game through Xbox Cloud gaming in a Chromium browser on Arch Linux; playing with an Xbox Series controller) when I get stuck in the title screen or notice in the mission that my right-stick axis are messed up, I just hit F5 (reload page → could also exit fullscreen and use browser controls to reload the page).
This re-connects me to the running session and the controls will usually start working as expected.
Obviously it would be much nicer if this would simply work out-of-the-box.
This could be a larger issue. I can’t get past the title screen in msfs 2024, msfs 2020 worked fine. However launching Indiana Jones and the great circle on cloud immediately after msfs 2024 results in the same issue with no controller response and unable to move past the launch screen. BUT once I run another game (like msfs 2020) and then try Indiana Jones, it works fine. I think there could be some weird underlying cloud issues here being triggered by msfs 2024.
Does anybody on Asobo/MS understand how big of a problem this is?!
It seems to be related to windowed mode, on pc, but we dont have that when playing through an xbox.
This must be a 5 minute fix!
And it should be a very high priority bug to fix!
Just so that its understood, almost all game sessions are destroyed by this bug and the game unplayable.
Either you cant get past the first screen or the bug sets in once you get to your first flight.
At this first flight some controls, like left stick, works, but very badly. So you can actually play, but very badly, so everybody wont understand or even think there is a problem, just think that the game is very very bad and the controls wierd, and you cant use any menus or go back.
Any random trying this game for the first time will rage quit after not getting past first screen or think its the worst game ever if getting in the plane and never try again!
They wont know there is a ( kind of working) workaround.
And these are the important people you want to play your game! New costumers! They WILL play it on cloud! And they WILL NOT play it more after getting to experience this bug!
In Xbox Cloud Gaming the Controlling key-mapping will randomly be messed up so that you can not open settings anymore and the active session will randomly loose focus of your controller.
It is not playable anymore… worse than MSFS 2020.
I tested it with Playstation Dualsense and Xbox MICROSOFT Elite Series 2 Wireless Controller on MacOS, Windows, iOS and TV…. Every combination will have the same problem… I can not even change the mapping if my only input device in cloud gaming is my controller…
Very sad user experience for monthly 17€ subscription!!!
