Same here, in the UK, PC (Steam version).

I loaded the sim a couple of minutes ago and left the room while it was loading. I came back to see the Installation Manager screen and a green box saying ‘Successfully Connected.’

Went to the World Map and saw a red ‘Connection Lost’ message.

Loaded into the sim and now it’s constantly flip-flopping between ‘Successfully Connected’ and ‘Connection Lost.’

Was working fine two days ago.

Its strange that i can still fly normally… it downloads live weather and photogrammetry as always… but the disconnect and reconnect message pops up every minute… annoying.

Same here. One hour ago, I just joined the beta, and downloading the approx 11GB of data went very fast indeed at 250-300 Mbits through the whole process. The first load of MSFS was fine.

However, I then exited, rebooted the computer and took a 10-minute break. When I launched MSFS again, as soon as I got past the initial splash screens, I was receiving constant “lost connection” messages, followed shortly thereafter by a green “reconnected” then “disconnected” etc.

When MSFS finally loaded, I noticed the Marketplace is unavailable, and disconnect/reconnect messages keep appearing.

This must have just started in the past 30 minutes or so.

I am located in the NE US.

For me, my MSFS connection is usually very reliable. I fly several hours each week, and almost never get a “disconnected” alert. I have never seen it happening almost continuously as it is now.

at least they should make the stupid connectivity issue pop up warnings less intrusive , since these issues are very frequent !! And the checking for updates hick up should not cause crashes , or minutes long waiting . If there is no connection just continue to game … Not like we have updates every day anyway ??

Yes

Brief description of the issue:

Opening MSFS, Update screen opens and about every 20 seconds I get the Connection Lost warning, then immediately the server connected in green, 20 seconds later Connection lost, then immediately server connected, then repeat and rinse over and over again. I hit ESC and loading screen opens and MSFS CTDs at about 75%.

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:

Ran this 5 times in both Safe and Normal modes. Ran 4 separate internet speed test through a VPN in Dallas (Ookla, etc) and my speeds are averaging 400+ MBps with no interruptions. So this clearly seems to be on the MSFS server side. I cannot even get in game to fly “offline” so this is annoying.

Check the forums - Xbox gaming server major outage

I’ve been experiencing the same and had a CTD at the gate in KBOS, which typically never happens.

Connection Lost and Connection established messaage changind in seconds on my end.

After ALT-TAB CTD

Mine keeps crashing to desktop. Is there anything we can do, just to play the game? I’m in Ohio, USA.

Same here in UK - On and off constantly, MS and Asobo needs to get this sorted.

Reboot, should be back working now.

Yep me too. I just did a bug report too on this. Glad it’s not just me as this confirms the problem is real today.

Did a reboot, CTD

Yep, I saw that, but figured a Bug report wouldn’t hurt. Hope they sort it out by tomorrow so I can fly then.

They are aware of the problem. I assume it is affecting more than just MSFS

I crashed out trying to get to Content Manager, reloaded the sim. Everything seems up so far, but I’m in the Beta portion. Will check now for a flight and see if all services are up.

xbox servers are strictly MS related . Nothing to do with Asobo , they just develop the game for MS .
