Xbox gaming server major outage

In the Beta as well, Marketplace is accessible again.
Let’s restart the flight I was in …

Working until I went to VR and got the old CTD

Same here stuck in checking for updates screen lol

Just finished a 3 hour flight a few minutes ago, everything seemed ok on USEast servers…

Its xbox wide, so Asobo has nothing to do with it

Its a log-in and launching outage. Keep your sim open :eyes:

Dang, I just shut down until later this evening, hope it’s up by then. Oh well.

All set. Currently headed from Flagstaff to Phoenix at 10,000.

I can only speak from the Beta view, but yes, chances are good you will get oddities like this on your first try to launch the sim:

Some of you may even get a 2.2MB update push. I recall from chats on the Working Title Discord that they pushed out a hotfix for something.

2nd run was a little slow loading the Blue Bar to Main Menu, but we’re up and good to go.

As of 3:29 EDT, aka two minutes ago, they are close to resolving the issue

Hope it’s helpful

This is what I’m experiencing, but the loading screen following this gets about halfway then just crashes to desktop every time. Launch it again, prompts for safe-mode or normal start, then the cycle repeats. Guess I’ll have to wait this one out!

Good old MS servers not coping with the weekend load again, it seems…

The service is back, make sure you are logged to Xbox account.

Yep. Happened to me, had to sign in with Xbox account afterwards & it had wiped all my settings & challenge progress for the 3rd time.

Doesn’t matter, Asobo designed the sim in first place which heavily relies on live servers without which it makes sim completely unusable.

Take yesterday for example - mid flight I had warning saying my bandwidth is too low and yet my internet connection was fine, it turned off live data streaming and had restart my flight again.

Looks like there’s a new one today. I’m getting an authentication error and there may be a server problem message.
