XCub and C172 Float Variants bouncing/twitching while on water

Brief description of the issue:

Anytime I want to taxi/take off the C172 or Xcub Floats on water, the plane gets really twitchy/bouncy. I have never flown a real float plane before but this definitely does NOT feel right. I evem tried going full up on aileron and that didn’t help either…

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:

Hop in the XCub or C172 Float Variant and try to “cruise” on the water at 20 or so knots…You should start experiencing the bouncing/twitching.

Don’t know about the rest of you but the sim needs some major work when it comes to the way float planes handle on the water .You take off and it continually bounces and won’t go on step ,surprised i can’t find any posts on this ,Louis

Water physics really should be improved. Interaction with water, realistic water operations like taxing, take-off, landings, wave interaction and realistic docking/undocking physics for seaplanes and more. Any real life seaplane pilots in here that maybe could elaborate?

Just reviving this thread a bit because flying the XCub just isn’t a great experience on floats. No matter where I go (with perfect weather) the plane jitters up and down constantly while moving at any speed on the water. It just really takes away from the experience and should be fixed considering it’s one of the few non-dlc floatplanes. C172 on floats suffers from the same problem, just not as severe.

MSFS 2020 water floating Physic is just plain TERRIBLE, and so far retarded compaired with just about every other Computer game that includes object that float and move on water.

The big Question is

Will it water floating physics be any better in 2024 ?
