Xmas gift list suggestions

Every year, my (adult) kids ask me what I want for xmas. I say nothing, as they don’t have much money, but they always get me something anyway, the usefulness of which I will leave unspoken.

I thought it might be good to have a list that I could give them, of small, relatively inexpensive items related to flight simming from which they would choose and I get a nice surprise.

Any suggestions for good books would be helpful - principles of flying etc.
Anything else?

Well we do not know what you already have

A webcam for setting up headtracking with the Opentrack freeware could be an inexpensive gift.

Or a Gift Card for the Just Flight shop

Or even an Xbox Gift Card for the MSFS Marketplace, you get these at most supermarkets here where I live.

Ha, sorry, yes that was a bit vague. I’m ok for hardware, peripherals etc
I think approx £25 would be good.

Great idea about gift cards, I will definitely put those down. I didn’t know JF did them and I’m after one of their aircraft. Similarly, I didn’t realise you could redeem xbox gift cards in the marketplace, so that will be the vision jet!

I also wasn’t aware

Ah yes… Then a gift card for a plane is thank by far the most fun present.

You redeem them here, then the money is in your MS Store account and can be used in the MSFS Marketplace. :

Extremely cool. About $80 to $100 USD.

Behringer | Product | X-TOUCH MINI

Thanks, stick and rudder looks good.

I did try Navigraph for a month to see what it was about, but I think it’s too expensive for my needs. I’ll stick with LittleNavMap.

I have seen those X-Touch and they look very good, but I’m OK for peripherals at the moment and the price is above what I was looking at for an inexpensive suggestion (I do need some decent rudder pedals but that’s beyond the scope of this topic).

Thanks for highlighting it though, others may be find it useful.
