The problem being that Carenado never actually improve them, they just churn out the same stuff on a regular schedule so that people get excited on a regular schedule.

You might think they’d just flood the market with every product easily ported, but it makes more sense to drip them out at an established rate that they’ve determined maximum users will buy them on impulse at.

Thank you, Carenado, for this beautiful Bonanza F33A! This is the aircraft I first began my flight training in 48 years ago. After all these years flying various aircraft, I still believe it’s one of the best high-performance planes to learn to fly with. No other training or passenger aircraft has ever replaced it in my heart. I just did a few touch-and-go landings with the Carenado Bonanza, and it was so beautiful and nostalgic that I didn’t even focus on technical precision—I simply wanted to relive the experience. A heartfelt thank you to Carenado and the MSFS team for making that possible.

Me and my first—and best—flight instructor. The beginning of a lifelong passion for aviation.

This is probably the best Carenado aircraft I’ve ever owned.
Forget any prejudice you may have against earlier models and grab yourself a bargain.
You tube reviews are just appearing although they lack the depth to show the full modelling.

Well at least their ported textures are much much better than the ones PMDG ported for the 777.

And having said that if they are porting it’s time they stop porting bonanzas and cessnas and port something more interesting to MSFS.

Is this for MSFS2024 only, 'cos I can’t find it in the marketplace? If so, I hope they’ll also release it for 2020.

MSFS 2020 version will come soon.

Just to double check as you never can tell at the moment - you can remove the co-pilot by removing the weight - inside and out?

Edit - Yes, thank goodness, you can.

Good to hear. Thank you.

Typically, when developers “port” their models to MSFS, they also improve the textures, along with edit the models, improve fidelity, etc..

Sadly, what people buy the most of are Bonanza’s and Cessna’s, so, that’s what they release again. Just like we keep seeing remakes of the same movies…

No issues here.

Are you trying to import the flight plan to the GNS or to the GTN? I’m using the PMS50 GTN, I send it to the avionics and it shows up in the GTN.

Does the aux fuel pump work in yours?

Well, this has been my first aircraft purchase in FS2024, and I have to say, I’m very impressed.

It’s Carenado so I knew not to expect massive systems depth, but it’s an easy flier, the sounds seem improved over the V35 and the cockpit, which oozes 70s charm, is just a lovely place to spend some time in.

The G36 Mod is definitely a great add-on. Get a nice plane with a rather simple graphical native model that gives great FPS.

I already love the V35 albeit reskinned inside and out with a few other tweaks. I think these two cover the bonanza well plus the BS overhaul. Kind of hard to really fit another Bonanza in there, maybe if it had tip tanks.

Yeah…but…let’s face it the PC 24 looks nice but it’s really a bit beyond what Carenado are capable of doing. I think we’re going to have to wait on Working Title to come to the rescue of that one.

Not to get too Off-Topic :slightly_smiling_face:

But PC-24 just needs some small fixes. It’s indicative of QA Testing AND the sim condition being a moving target at the time all of us as Dev Partners were prototyping then fine-tuning our share of the studio-made / MS Commissioned aircraft in the base sim. Carenado didn’t do a bad job, but they need to patch it up (and chances are MS is already holding onto the build).

W T has all the credit (and blame) for the Epic 2 condition. I’ve already identified a few places where it could use tweaking (like inconsistent VGP readouts and APR mode - that’s not on Carenado).

That being said, there’s reviews now of the F33A, and I was skimming through AvAngel’s. I mean, it’s nice, but it’s a Bonanza. Not pooh-poohing the type, there’s just other stuff I want to fly. But it’s meaningful because it is their first OWN product which means they’re not constrained (and alternatively not budget/subsidized) by MS’ conditions.

If I knew I had to do a walk around like a stock MS AC just to take the cover off among other things before I can hop in and go I never would of bought this. Just seems like alot of products are going backwards these days.

It’s the 2024 SDK standard - expect it from just about every 2024-made aircraft, especially if it has plans on being integrated into career.

With SU2 there’s a single keybind you can use to remove those, and if you bind it to the same thing you use for entering the aircraft it becomes a single click to completely skip preflight. Hardly experience/product-ruining in my opinion.

Just out of curiosity, what’s the keybind I should search for on this? Thanks!
