Yet Another Bonanza from Carenado - F33A for FS'24

It makes a sound so I guess it is but you’d not know by looking at the instruments.

For anyone, who needs clear windows, i made this little mod::

Clear Windows for Carenado F33 Bonanza MSFS2024 für Microsoft Flight Simulator | MSFS

Thank you so much! I wanted this the second I took my first flight in the F33–wow the default green tint is ridiculous.

Carenado’s a little obsessed with the 60s tint.

Same opinion - add to it that out of all the Carenado planes I own or have ever owned, not ONE has tanked my FPS to any degree at all, while still delivering acceptable or better fidelity in the flight model and maybe the highest quality visual models available.
Audio quality is good generally - especially if one is properly using prop RPM and throttle adjustments. The Seminole, and the Staggerwing especially..
All for a very good price by comparison to some other examples.

I have flown a few times over the desert Southwestern US - in small GA with, and without the tinted windows and I’ll tell you this for free. Even with very good quality sunglasses you could end up with a pounding headache flying sunward in an un-tinted airplane - flying for 2-3 hours, with that loudish motor drone, the vents blowing in your face notwithstanding…

Those that think this release is something significant for Carenado must not be aware of its past history. This aircraft has been in xplane for a very long time and is equally as good on that platform. This one is not significantly any better or worse I’d argue. Yet another Bonanza though. But i like it.

This is the best Carenado available for MSFS2024. The fact that there may also be a version available for other platforms has no relevance to anything.

As it is now also available in 2020, please can any of the 2024 owners that also owns 2020 take a look what price it is in 2020?

Have the 2024 version, 2020 version still shows full price in 2020 marketplace.

Thank you for this information.

This is a screenshot of the F33A in the 2020 Marketplace. It says: “Optimized for MSFS 2024 with detailed systems simulation and accurate flight behaviour.”

This tells me if I get it in 2020 it will be natively in 2024, doesn’t it?

Considering your situation with the C182Q, I wouldn’t bet on it. Have you checked what the description says in the 2024 marketplace? Maybe they just copied the text from there?

Right, they just copied it.

I have three questions:

  1. Does this aircraft have cowl flaps?
  2. Where is the official manual saved?
  3. Does the EGT gauge work? It looks like it doesn’t because the needle doesn’t move when leaning.

Yes it does, there isn’t one, yes it does.

Ok, how do you control the cowl flaps?

It’s a white push/pull lever just above and left the throttle.

You’ll need to hide the yokes to see it.

Two questions from me:

  1. Does the Aux Fuel Pump do anything more than just noise?
  2. Does popping the breakers have any effect on electrical system?

Thanks.
