I haven’t seen this mentioned yet. The latest sim update seems to have introduced passenger chatter that can be heard when you enter the passenger window view in the showcase tab (external camera 12). Definitely adds a lot of immersion!

On the default 320? Hadn’t noticed this, just that engine sound was a lot quieter.

Not sure about other airliners…but in default 787, the changed of sound effect in SU5 when in this view is for the worst…when replaying landing/ takeoff in the cabin wing view there is this loud wind noise that overshadow engine sound, reverse thrust sound and rattling noise!!.. now i can only hear “wind” sound and passenger chatters sound effect.
Tried changing the engine sound (use100%) and misc sound (reduced to 30%) to lower the loud wind sound, but this basically also muted the rattling sound effect. Set it 100% and the wind sound would overshadow all other sound effect…
please let me know if anyone know how to edit sound file to get back at least SU4’s sound effect? I watch several video on youtube and also on a b787 myself..the sound effect in SU5 cant be correct for the 787. I thought during the promotion there was mentioned of doing recording in real aircraft?

I actually noticed the same! I have been trying to successfully recreate a real flight with the Virtual CoPilot to takeoff, fly my IFR route and land. Unfortunately haven’t always been successful except one time with a smaller plane and it landed on the taxiway! 
But yes the goal is to pretend you’re a passenger on some fun stormy weather/night scenario flights and just look out the window.
