Your bandwidth is too low (February/March/April 2023)

One hour for setting up a commercial flight, 45 minutes on air, and then the warning comes. Tried to set the Online Functionality to ON, Bing to ON, then Applying Settings took forever and Sim crashed. Waste of time!

I cannot have a decent flight with MSFS recently.

It really is! Doesnā€™t make anymore sense to start the game!

I agree, this sim is a complete waste of time right now. And has been for the last few weeks. I think iā€™m finally gonna quit and play something else. Southern Germany as well btwā€¦
Just sad.

With Vpn usa its possible to fly

But a VPN should and will never ever be the solution.
The ping, for example, is way to high. At least for close formation flying.

Outages in NL are extremely rare, even for maintenance. Maybe twice a year for a few hours. MS better investigates its own ā€˜outagesā€™, going on for years now. Just in recent months annoyance has turned to unplayable.

Outages are rare anywhere but when you have tens of thousands all trying to download their individual content from the same place it puts unbelievable strain on any network infrastrucrure ā€¦ and IMO Azure is probably both the most up to date and most capable of all of it.

Am experiencing this in Sydney Australia. Completely lost all beauty of the game and getting blocky ground graphics.

And again I am getting the low bandwith messageā€¦ Btw, I am located in GieƟen, Hessen, Germany. 100 Mbit Internet with 1&1. I donĀ“t have any problems with streaming except with this product. Like I said, after such a long time and especially without any information from Microsoft what causes all this, this issue is not going to be resolved!

Yay, it starts again in Berlin/Germany. Seems there is a list of unsolved issues right now, besides the recurring bandwidth-error the failures in ATC started again.

Yikes.

When will this issue finally get solved? Or at least become less of a spoiler?
No more intrusive pop-up windows; NEVER change settings to off line, try to reconnect in the background with the least possible impact on the sim.
Thatā€™s the way it should be, thatā€™s the way it should have been all along.

Of course, the server capacity should be made sufficient as well.

+1 here again after 2 weeks of absence of this error message. Based in Western Germany. Unbelievable it takes them so long to fix it and making the sim enjoyable than ever before

totally agree! Make sure to upvote so they see it as fast as possible

I donā€™t mind the message so much. The issue I have is that I may walk away from my computer for a few hours during a long flight, only to find out that the game paused for 2 hours BECAUSE of the message.

Itā€™s not only the pop-up but the terrible scenery without BingData.
Trying to enable the BingData again is most of the time a CTD or not possible due to another bandwidth error.

another bummer is if you change settings back to online, the sim freezes for minutes (ā€œapplying settingsā€, probably trying to reconnect to the servers) and eventually crashes. then you have to go through the initial load again, as if that wasn long enough already, just to find yourself in the same situation again. its highly frustrating. im also based in (west)germany

You donā€™t mind?
Have you seen the scenery without Bingdata??
